Transnational ranking is not a serious publication. I've never heard any boxing expert cite them as a source. Wladimir who fought for many years in the U.S. fought Jennings to raise his profile? What a ****, am I the only one reading this ****?
What the **** do you mean he could of easily made himself mando by facing better contenders than he did or looked for named opponents to make himself an attractive proposition for the man in the division or upon winning the title look to unify. All of these options he didn't want to know about. Clearly you'd slurp up any kool-aid team would have the audacity to serve so not a lot I can do for you.
Dude he was a belt Holder. Joshua did no more than Wilder before Vladimir fought him. Now you're grabbing at straws, I thought Wilder ducked Vladimir. Isn't that what you claim?
Transnational rankings are the most UNBIASED ranking system whos only flaw is penalizing guys when not active. Boxing EXPERTS ? Wilder fangirls don't like unbiased rankings bc if they checked out that ranking system they would find wilder has ZERO guys in the top ten he fought as a champion.... Klitchko after his Jennings win..... "We need to do it [Klitschko vs. Wilder] and we have to do it. There is certainly a reason why I’m back here and why I’m fighting on US television live on US soil,” Wladimir said via the Sportsmole.co.uk. “Wilder is the most valuable opponent for me to fight and the price is the title that he has.” Yet according to you he has never mentioned Wilder? Here is a link to the actual article of why Wlad fought Jennings in the U.S to promote a wilder fight you simpleton..lol https://www.boxingnews24.com/2015/02/wladimir-klitschko-wants-deontay-wilder-after-jennings-fight/
I'm not, I'm saying if Wilder wanted to face Wlad he def could of forced the issue but he wanted to take the Stiverne route and then seemed reluctant to look for afterward. I'm not a Joshua fan he's another one who won the vacant title lottery but at least Joshua looked to make a fight with Wlad and got it done. Wilder's career has been a long time. Why did it take so long for it to get going? We keep hearing about Finkel's financial backing so why didn't he cough up until they considered a Joshua fight? Why wasn't anyone else worth paying to make Wilder a star?
So let me get this straight. It was logically reasonable for Vladimir to fight Joshua in a country that I don't think he has ever fought before but he needed to establish himself in a country he was fought in more than than 10 times.
Im guessing you are new to boxing..o.k I get it now ! you cant even comprehend Klitchko fought in a 90,000 packed arena vs Joshua and cant understand why he fought in the U.k ???....duh...lol It was a long time before Wlad fought in the U.S prior to Jennings as he fought for YEARS in Germany and abroad. The fact is your thread is dumb bc it actually has no meaning to it and everyrthing you said has been proven false which also includes an agreed contract by WILDER who can fight Joshua if really wanted too which proves whos actually stalling the fight .
Dude, i have no problem with people criticizing his early career. To that i say he was learning on the job, developing experience, etc. Isnt that the same narrative people usd for guys like julio cesar chavez and other mexican boxers? Chavez was fighting guys making their DEBUT or having ridiculous 0-8-4 type records while he himself had over 50 fights. Either way, Wilder is clearly attempting to fight the best fighters NOW. This reminds me of golovkin threads before he fought jacobs and canelo. There were literally hundreds of people on numerous boards and youtube comment sections defending golovkins poor resume because the other middleweights wouldnt fight him. How is this any different? As for the bolded part, it looks like a contradiction. How could wilder have fought wladmir "anytime" but you defend wladmir choosing not to fight him based on his statements about wilder needing to raise his profile?
Yeah in less than half of the fights, your saying Joshua in 15 fights had done no more than Wilder in 35. 5 fights later and Joshua has alreasy surpassed Wilder
Golovkin wanted bigger fights early. He tried to make fights with the big name Germans who refused to fight him. Wilder didn't look to fight anyone of note until recently. JCC was rightly criticised by the likes of Haugen for his resume until he proved he was the real deal. I don't see why you can't understand that Wlad as long reigning champ could pretty much do what he wanted at that stage. He didn't really have anything to prove after such a long reign and the onus was on Wilder to get the fight made yet he never sought the fight out as a contender or a titlist. It was Wlad making all the noise for that fight. If Fury could get a fight with Wlad made then you sure as hell know Wilder could have too.
Eddie Hearn's daddy says the whole team has discussed it and that they are listening to his advice; the Wilder fight should not happen until 2020. He cited getting DAZN going with their big star and even cited the money Mayweather/Pacquiao made by delaying that bout... Scene the interview. Wish I was making this up, but am not.
The entire top 50 list for 99% of his pro career. Oh and Joshua, despite being offered more in one fight than he's earned in his career to date and likely after. Wilder is mismanaged moron.
Wilder did express interest in unifying with klitschko: https://m.lasvegassun.com/news/2015/jan/18/new-wbc-champion-deontay-wilder-unify-klitschko-wl/ https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/joshkatzowitz/2015/11/10/deontay-wilder-i-could-beat-wladimir-klitschko-tomorrow/amp/ Again u cant blame wilder for the fight not happening and then saying wladmir can "do whatever he wants" with "nothing to prove" and is correct in wanting wilder to "build his name" in the same paragraph. Also, klitshcko tried to pay wilder (ranked #1) step aside money so he could fight stiverne for the wbc: https://www.ringtv.com/338333-deontay-wilder-would-step-aside-for-10-million/ Wilder publicly expressed interest in fighting wladmir but wladmir never seemed to have much enthusiasm in facing wilder so why is all the blame on him? You yourself said wladmir CHOSE NOT TO so that wilder could "build his name" yet he jumped right into the ring with fury who wasnt that popular outside of the uk. There always seems to be a double standard with wilder. Like hearn and joshua saying he doesnt deserve a percentage and should take a flat rate but gave joseph parker a percentage.
