If true, it's for the best. Better for DW, better for boxing.

most of us need a beating once in awhile, I know I do, but Wilder deserved his more than most people in this world for the way he choose to conduct himself in public, not hating on him, not saying it was wrong, im saying he deserved a good beating for acting that way towards others.

I never wanted a boxer to get a good beating as badly as Wilder

his comments about wanting a body on his record sickened me

he also mocked Fury for his drug problems and mental health issues which I’m sure turned a lot of people against him as those are problems which many people have suffered with

and his attempt to make their fight a racial clash was very negative

Smart move and a win-win for all involved. Whyte-Wilder then? Unlikely but one can always hope.

Fury does what he wants anyway. Just ask Wlad.

how he compared himself to Ali and Tyson (who had to consistently fight THE top guys, the guys that the PUBLIC demanded to see fight) was what got me, and the wanting a body on his record, that was just stupid and bad karma. You are trying to knock the dude out not kill him.

I didn't even follow all the other stuff he said.

he will never be anywhere near the greatness of Ali and Tyson

And he has said a lot in his career that he should be ashamed of his karma was very unbalanced indeed

I think the sooner that fight happens the better for its money making prospects. Do we know know what the ppv numbers were for this past UFC? That would be very telling on the demand for live sporting events right now.

They won’t rush the Joshua vs Fury fight. There’s no way it’s next, surely. Not with what’s going on in the world. They’ll want to capitalise on some semblance of normality, which isn’t exactly around the corner.

On top of that, this fight will have a rematch clause in it, so Wilder might be waiting some length of time.

If true it’s a pretty smart move. Don’t think he beats Fury but he might be able to land a Hail Mary on Joshua if Joshua were to become undisputed.

you would think if Wilder does get $10mil Pulev will want some similar sort of money to step aside also.

That’s $20mil potentiality straight off the bat before a single ticket has been sold.

Outside of the ring DW's career is a masterclass in how to maximise earning vs skill. Especially when you consider he isn't an especially popular fighter.

I dunno, but I have read there are concerns about PPV sales because people often buy it once and invite friends round to watch it, and if people can't invite a bunch of people round, then what? That said, it might mean more individual purchases and boost figures, it's hard to say...
