Wilder will be fighting someone who can't fight at all, plus, it will be in Wilder's home town with Wilder's judges, referee, boxing commission, ringside doctor, this will be Wilder's 5th voluntary title defense against another wino from the alley.............

Sadly, still relevant, as Wilder continues to look for the softest "opposition" he can get away with. All these fanboys are acting like ailing, overrated contenders like Bermane Stiverne or Grandpa Oritiz were some step up, but it's well know that Stiverne was suffering from severe dehydration and Grandpa Ortiz was taking blood pressure meds!!

Seriously. Wilder is a total FRAUD. Can't wait until his glass jaw is exposed.

It's a matter of degree As has been well documented on here and elsewhere, Wilder not only fought far more pathetic tomato cans (and even then, some of them had him on the canvas), he fought this D and F level "competition" for far longer than any other rated HW.

Guys like Joshua, Povetkin, Fury, etc. moved past this level of fighter a year or two into their careers. Wilder was still scraping the bottom of the barrell FIVE YEARS into his career, and even after that faced washed up name opponents and mediocre journeyman for several years after this.

Joshua, Parker and Whyte have all fought pretty clearly superior opposition an all have been in the sport years less than Wilder.

Wilder is a 33 year old guy probably near the end of his prime and his resume is dreadful

Those other 3 are all in their 20s at the start of their primes and have "ok" resumes

Lol D -F level competition is not even joking and even then they often outbox him.
Wilder has been so carefully managed with his best competition being Stiverne who he beat and yet rematches against popular disdain for that fight and it’s now looking more likely Ortiz will get a rematch despite losing by KO stoppage.
Not knocking Ortiz but both Stiverne,Breazeale are just there to pad his record and waste time.
Ortiz less so but I’d of rather seen him fight Whyte.

It's quite sad that the HW WBC champion is coming to the twilight years of his career and has only stepped up once.

No unifications yet either. Serious question: How many fights does he have left?

It's worse than that. Ortiz should of been taking his heart meds but they wouldn't let him.

Yes. It is and all of the current "elite" hw resumes are pretty poopy, imo. Enough that runming around boasting the difference is silly. The way to determine who is best is for them to fight one another.

If I'm driving a Lambo, I'm not going to pull up to you driving your Ferrari and try to shame you outrunning a minivan by boasting about leaving a moped in the dust. It would be cringey.
