Haven't seen the fight but by the weigh in Stiverne didn't come to fight. Worst shape I've seen him in.

Shame because it just proves what we already know, wilder is good at smashing bums..

Is the power legit against the elite, we are no closer to knowing..

Thanks WBC!!! Biggest joke division and on top of that they make another bum the next mandatory...

I have never seen Wlad throw a pathetic windmill like Wilder does.

I expected a KO. Wilder usually plays it cautious because he's hiding glass in there. The only time he goes for the kill like that is when a boxer is completely past it, like Audley. I think that version of Audley would beat Stiverne btw.

A spectacular KO by Wilder who he has beaten before, does not make a win that good.

Wilder is ready for big fights, and he should get going on 2018. Lots of good HWs to go by, including
the ones who has been suspected of PEDs. Wilder will get more credit by beating PED fighters.

How is Wilder going to "attract" AJ to come to the states. When there is 10 times as much in this fight in the UK as there is in the USA.

Wilder is a nobody in the USA. All the money is in the UK.

AJ is quite happy fighting the rest of his career for 7-10 million per fight whilst Deontay is picking up 1 million dollars per fight. AJ also has a 20 million fight against Tyson Fury on the horizon.

AJ doesnt need Deontay that much, not enough to fight for peanuts in Alabumma. Let Deontay have his "career"- he will be rightly seen as a joke if he continues pricing himself out of major fights like this, when he is not the draw and offers nothing by himself.

Doesn't change a thing for me. To me it had all the signs of a dive. Opponent comes in badly out of shape, doesn't land or even throw a punch with bad intentions.

Exactly. Wilder is unknown in the USA. AJ would take a massive pay cut if he came to the US to fight Wilder!

Every division needs a big show down between two rivals and Wilder vs Joshua is one of the best fights in the sport , not just at heavy.
The #1 and #2 rated fighters must fight so its not a matter of what he needs , he HAS to fight Wilder. By saying he doesn't means you don't want to see the best fight the best.

He has 38 KO's in 39 fights. His peers all speak very highly of him.

I would not pick him to beat Joshua right now but I sense a rightful fear among that fan base that it doesn't take a super technical beast to defeat Joshua. This is boxing. It is the theater of the unexpected. Neither are invincible. Both are flawed. Nobody should wager their mortgage on either fighter, just saying. It's not a case of "Wilder has a 2% chance of winning" as some would say. That makes it interesting.

As dreadful as Wilder's opposition has been all things considered, it is still only arguable to rank a maximum of three HW's ahead of him (Joshua, Povetkin, Parker).

Which furthers my point that THE HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION SUCKS, same as it did for many years now. Can't say Wilder is the worst titlist in boxing then claim the HW division is back and looking great.

Wilder fans more embarrassing than ever. Your boys resume is a sheer embarrassment... His opponent last night looked unfit to be in a ring. Wilder is an average boxer with good power....
