I agree, Fury was fit and well back then too, now he has been basically inactive for years, abused himself with alcohol, food and drugs and will have fought Seferi and Pianeta. I wouldn't be worried if it was ME. Last time Wilder fought an old man who was medically unfit right up until fight night, maybe if Wilder fought a genuinely live and fit opponent he would have something for to worry about.
Wilder has plenty to worry about. The reason why Fury fans bring up Wlad so much is because that performance can not be overstated. In the past 15 years or so that was the finest display of hit and don't be hit back tactics the heavyweight division has seen and the implication of Wladimir Klitschko being so thoroughly shut down speaks volumes to Tyson Fury's juxtaposition to the rest of the division. I am a Wilder fan, I believe Wilder will study Tyson's attack and find a way to connect clean to get the KO. I am not terribly impressed by Wlad's abilities either, but Tyson dealt with Wlad like an ATG would have. He toyed with him. He didn't struggle, there was no fight, he made Wlad look goofy. That's not just a W that's a statement and any fan worth their salt heard Mister Fury when he made it. If he handles Wilder like an ATG I will start calling him an ATG. Respect The Gypsy King. Even if he does get knocked out by Wilder he's still the most technically sound HW active. Wilder's using a clever mix of techniques tailored to him. I believe Wilder's one of the best in history to perform what he does, but what Deontay Wilder doesn't do, which is a lot, Tyson Fury does and does well. It's a classic waiting to happen no matter who wins.
Wilder has alot to worry about. The team he has around him are time served experts at their jobs and they have chosen to feed wilder bums and kept his resume weak and his profile low. People blaming his team for him being so unknown but these people know exactly what they have been doing and why.
