Wilder hasn't earned a shot at "The Man" he needs some decent scalps.

    How did Joshua avoid him?

By the WBA removing his mandatory status for drug abuse while we be crooks reinstated him knowing he would be off peds

After his loss, he’s still the #1 contender for Joshua’s wbc belt and top 5 in most rankings.

This is so ****ing tedious. He's beat a legit top 5 fighter. He has a world title. He deserves it as much as anyone else.

Let me kill this thread in one post.

Eddie Hearn said that if Big Baby Miller can beat Duhaupas, along with having Wach and Washington on his record, then he worth of a world title shot.

I think that quote puts this ''wilder needs to earn his shot'' ''Wilder build his name'' ''Wilder's resume isn't that good'' garbage to bed.

The snake Master Eddie Hearn has already laid out the criteria in order to get title shot which Wilder has already exceeded in doing

Eddie the lying snakeoil saleman has shown in this interview that his intentions are to milk Joshua as much as possible before risking a fight with Wilder or Fury and nothing to do with building the fight up. Just more stalling...

Wilder has a much better record as AJs fought nobody of note. Life and death with 41 year old Wlad coming off a bad loss and a career high 2 year layoff is a terrible win. Don't listen to Eddie and Sky mate, use your own mind. After that AJ is a paper champ with a terrible record.

He has the WBC title = he's earned his shot. End of story.

AJ might be the money man but he's not the undisputed champ until he has all the belts.

He is just the #1 ranked fighter in a division with no king.

Wilder's win over Ortiz is literally better than any win Joshua has. Are we pretending a fluke of a KO win over dinosaur Wlad, a guy shown up so bad by Fury is now a win worthy of being called "the man"?

Yeah I agree to some degree.
Sometimes some fighters have to earn it and others just get the opportunities.
I would like to see Wilder beat some top HWs as it would really build Joshua/wilder

He probably has, but how much more does he want?
I dont think Wilder would have done as much as fury if he were around or Haye if Haye hadnt have lost to Bellew. I think Pulev and Povetkin could have an argument overall as to who has done more
    Interesting debate

    Its not. Far from
The win over Wladimir was far greater. Im not convinced the Ortiz win was as good as Joshuas wins over Whyte, Brezeale and Martin
