Believe it or not, but the WBA is investigating a possible clash between Evander Holyfield and Deontay Wilder. Wilder is currently #7 in the WBA rankings, and the winner would become the new WBA World Champion (Not Super Champion).

Holyfield can become the oldest heavyweight champion in history if this fight comes through. The WBA would put him through several tests to check his current condition. Povetkin lost his WBA World Champion belt after his defeat against Wladimir Klitschko.

Source inside WBA, you heard it here for the first time . :deal

Holyfield could actually win this. Maybe i am just being delusional for saying that but i honestly think that Wilder's skill level is so low that he could get beat by old man river.

Are you serious? I bet you'd give him credit for digging Joe Louis out of the grave and fighting him too

Source? If true, my gut tells me that Holyfield's legs and reflexes are shot and that Wilder will potshot him at will the entire fight.

Wilder would lose, Louis' state of decay after 30+ years isn't enough for Deontay to beat him. :bart
