Wilder should shut his mouth and start fighting someone other than winos from the alley...................he has had 5 voluntary title defenses in a row.............................a record.........and he will never fight a legit opponent.............Wilder is a fraud and he knows it. WBC should be ashamed of themselves............Povetkin was framed to keep him away from Wilder..........................Wilder keeps on talking about beating everyone in boxing history, yet he never mentions Povetkin...........................that fraud will keep on cheating and running his lying mouth........

To be honest, Wilder really does have big power. He might not be far off Tyson in the power department.

However, that's about the ONLY thing that he has which is comparable to Mike.

Tyson would have pulverized him. Even the diminished post prison version would have destroyed him.

 

With everything about Wilder, his resume as a near 40 fight world champion, the krap he has to say BOMBBB SQUADDD, i should really dislike him. I do want to see him get knocked out and exposed but i just cant help but like this guy. He keeps knocking people out, his team are constantly in his ear telling him how amazing he is and how hard he hits. He doesnt have more power than Iron Mike but he has certainly got more than enough and im not surprised that havnt not ever felt Tyson power he feels like he may have more.

As soon as he fought somebody who had an ounce of Boxing skills, Stiverne, it became clear Wilder hasnt got the skill to make full use of that power. But the power is there.

Tyson unified the titles in his early 20's. Wilder won his title facing no one in the top 10 and has proceeded to make a mockery of himself due to his mandatory choices. I can't compare Tyson to Wilder as that's so disrespectful to what Mike achieved.

The most frustrating thing for me is...I actually think if Wilder slightly improved - I do think he could unify. But with all this bs - I don't think he's truly cut out to be a true champion. Time will tell.

In the meantime - I'll be watching a real 50/50 fight between Wlad & Joshua....then another in Fury & Parker. They are true fighters striving for legacy rather than irritating fans with this bs that has no relevance.

Hating aside, his awfully executed right hand, when it lands, is amongst the biggest punches thrown by a heavyweight quite honestly.

 

Wilder must be hurting that Joshua and Wlad are making so much money, more than his whole career for one fight. I feel his pain, but he chose to bum feast and hold hostage the belt once held by real champions like Mike.

Say what you will about his comp or numerous other issues, but Wilder may very well have more single punch power than any HW in history. I don't think he can marshal it as effectively as Tyson, nor combo punch as well, but for single, sniper style power, Wilder may be the best.

 

Too bad he's not the hardest hitting heavyweight today. Wlad still is.
