I heard Wilder lost every round in sparring for this fight. His coach says Wilder is the same skill level as he (the coach) was at 11 years old. Let's be honest, he's a very average boxer with extreme power.
Well I'm not exactly a Wilder fan and I was about 70% sure he was going to lay Fury out. Simply because Fury has been off for too long and how crappy he looked vs Pianeta. I was sure that Fury would gas out towards the second half of the fight, that Wilder would catch him and that would be that. Fury was always going to outbox Wilder because he's a good boxer and Wilder sucks. What surprised me was that Fury managed to get much of his timing back in training and what really surprised me was that he got up from that bomb. Wilder's power is real and Fury's chin is imho so-so. God must have been with him after all because I dunno who else woke him up and pulled him to his feet.
Spot on. He's usually very off balance and flailing all over the place and trips over his own feet in every fight and I didn't see any of that. He is a legit hw and dangerous asf! Them two shots he hit fury with in the `12th were brutal! I think if he had been able to wear down Fury with some punishment for the first 11 rounds Fury probably doesn't get up but Fury really had him missing most of the night and was still pretty fresh by the 12th. Two really good heavyweights who are champions in my book and I can't wait for the rematch. The puncher vs the boxer. Love these matchups. We may get an all time great trilogy out of these two.
