    Accusing his own trainer of sparking his water , making excuses for the fury fight . And saying the referee was corrupt . Biggest disgrace as an american boxer in my opinion .

    He's right. The ref was corrupt.




    In Wilder's favor. Kenny Bayless is a garbage ref that changes his ref style every fight to best protect the house fighter. He did everything he could to help Wilder. Just like he did whenever he reffed for Floyd.

    The excuses he's come up with have been bizarre to say the least, from the costume being too heavy to know accusing Breland of spiking his water and claiming Fury was wearing loaded gloves. The only rationale I have for his behaviour is that he was mentally broken not only by the loss but by how he lost.

    Foreman claimed Ali drugged him before their fight in his autobiography and he had nightmares for years about that loss. I suspect Wilder too has experienced a similar breaking of his will and spirit at the hands of Fury. So I try not to judge Wilder too harshly because I suspect right now he's in a dark place and what he is saying right now are not the words of a man who is all there and given time to heal from this loss he may very well have a very different view of things.
