Wilder is a STYLISTIC NIGHTMARE for Povetkin! I see an early KO!

    Povetkin struggles with tall boxerd

Wilder is tall, has devastating KO power, brings the pressure

I mean Povetkin got badly hurt by Wach

I see Wilder stopping Povetkin in 4

Remember to scramble that egg after you wipe it off both your faces, after Povetkin plants Wilder into the turf like some strange, spindly tree ;)

You base this on what? The Wlad fight is really the only example of when Povetkin struggled with a tall boxer.

Povetkin beat the even taller Wach with ease, he struggled with the 6'2" Huck, was out boxed early by the 6'2.5" Takam.

Height doesn't seem to be a factor. Movement maybe a bigger issue for Povetkin, he does prefer fighters that stand in front of him so he can utilise his combinations.

Wilder has the movement to trouble Povetkin but I don't think he has the other skills to prevent from being ground down. Wlad couldn't keep Povetkin at bay with his movement and was forced to clinch more than he has ever done before. Wilder doesnt clinch, he exchanges when an opponent gets in range and that's going to cost him against Povetkin.

Most people looking at the fight objectively think the odds are in WIlders favor. Most people supporting Povetkin are those who can't form their own ****ysis and rely too heavily on a resume to decide fights.

And that's exactly why I favor Wilder, I'm looking at it objectively, same goes for my position on Joshua-Martin While it may not seem like it at times, I am.

I agree, I still feel Wilder wont get the credit he will deserve beating a guy like Pov.

The haters will say Pov lost to Huck, got stomped by Wlad, out boxed by Takam etc. Povetkin is a great fighter, he's just a bit too small and doesn't have great foot speed to beat a talent like Wilder.

Wilder will use his size and speed and will beat him clearly by late KO or UD.

I disagree. I have a laugh at WIlder because he's fought, besides Stiverne, a procession of nobodies his whole career. Povetkin is a battle-tested SOMEbody, and if Wilder beats him then he is imho, legit.

Wilder doesn't feel too comfortable when fighting pressure fighters. Povetkin is one of the best pressure fighters in the division. I remember both Molina and Szpilka nailing Wilder with shots, and I'm sure Povetkin is capable of doing the same thing, he's more offensively skilled and hits harder. Apart from that, most likely the fight will take place in Moscow, and we don't know how Wilder will feel out of his comfort zone. Psychological factor will be important here.

On the other hand, what dissapoints me about Povetkin is that he follows his opponents on a straight line (instead of cutting the ring) and never moves his head. Just based on this disadvantage Klitschko was able to completely control him from round 1 to round 12. Wilder was troubled by Szpilka, because he constantly moved his head and his foot work was nice. If Povetkin doesn't do the same thing, he should only hope for a KO victory, cause otherwise Wilder will outpoint him easily.

Thus, I'm really looking forward to seeing this fight, because it's hard to predict which Povetkin and which Wilder will show up there.

I'll see an early KO either way. But I favor Povetkin for being so much better as any boxer Wilder faced thus far, despite the stylistic disadvantage.

I see an early KO as well.

    Povetkin KO2 Wilder

Even if it was true that Povetkin struggles agaisnt "tall boxerd," Wilder sucks. His power is only a bit above that of Mike Mollo. He certainly is no Demetrice King.

As for "brings the pressure," you are looking through the eyes of *******ual love. If you actually watched the last fight, you would have seen the announcers trying to disguise their contempt for his pawing, girlish right hands.

    But whatever.
