Wilder is fighting someone in January or waiting for Povetkin?

Povetkin-Wach is one week away. Wilder should wait and negotiate with the winner.

Are you kidding? Povetkin is not nearly obese enough, or lacking enough skill for Wilder to even seriously consider fighting him. Look forward to Wilder duking it out with another one of the "Buffet Boyz" in January.

I think he's waiting for the Thompson-Scott winner. If they don't take the fight, he'll go with Wawrzyk.

Wilder would have little reason to fight Scott again. If Tony Thompson wins he might take him.

Povetkin is his mandatory, he has to fight him sooner or later or surrender the belt. Unless Povetkin loses to Wach of course.

Why does no one get the fact that Povetkin could have had him already if he didn't take the Wach fight? But yet everyone puts all the blame on Wilder for ducking him.

He'll fight him, there is no way Wilder surrenders that belt without a fight.

Wilder should fight Povetkin before the end of January or be stripped off, plain and simple. His next fight should be boycotted by fans if it will prevent a January fight with Sasha from happening, schedule-wise.

Being that he hasn't scheduled a fight yet and the Povetkin bout is less than two weeks away he may just wait and fight Povetkin.

Doubt it will happen. As long as Wilder fights him sometime in 2016 they aren't stripping him. Wilder is good business, he is starting to get America interested in heavyweight boxing again.

Besides, Povetkin likely won't be ready in January fighting in November. But if he beats Wach and says he will be ready in February Wilder should wait. Or if not schedule another tough opponent. I do agree no more cans or dubious contenders, Wilder needs to step it up right now.

A superfight with Taishan Dong is appropriate.

    Dong KO2.

Then a unification with Wlad follows.
