If dude is 48, then I want to see when he was 28! Could have been something very special and fill the void that the heavyweight division had the last 15 years or so.
As I recall, that was speculation from another boxer a few months back. A sparring partner? I forget who said it, but pretty sure the original post was based on that comment.
See above. I'm nearly certain someone made that claim in an interview around the time I remember first seeing this post.
I have heard that Ortiz is approx. 50 years old, that's why Wilder will fight him,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Wilder would not come near a young Ortiz! Hell, even at almost 50 Ortiz still might beat Wilder, but will Wilder require that Ortiz drink several bottles of wine before the fight and live in an alley? Probably. Why did Wilder refuse big money to fight Whyte, Takam, Miller, Povetkin, Joshua, Parker, Ruiz, hell, even an inexperienced Sirenko! Ad infinitum!
Edward Hearn and the superior one ducked Ortiz at least Wilder is stepping up to the plate. Honestly this is a great fight, a fight that will prove alot regarding both fighters. Ortiz is Wilder's best opponent to date....as Wilder is Ortiz's......let's not act as though Ortiz record is stacked.
