Wilder has digged himself an inescapable hole right now... He calls himself a warrior but when have you ever witnessed a warrior lose the most important fight of his life to an outfit? A warrior accepts defeat and goes back to the drawing board to restrategise. A warrior doesn't make excuses and a warrior doesn't delude himself to the point of denial. Wilder would of came out of this situation unscathed if he just told the truth and accepted defeat like a true warrior does.
The hole he is in is that he loses face if he doesn’t take the rematch. And if he takes the rematch it’s hard to see him winning the fight.
