Seen at today's Kovalev-Pascal weigh in.

Otherwise what is he doing there? Getting reconstructive jaw surgery using Canada's free healthcare system? :conf

    Yeah

That would be a good fight while he waits for the Povetkin vs Perez winner

Both can be nice keep-busy fight opponents for him especially Glazkov if he wins this one.

Wouldn't be suprised if Glazkov is next for Wilder if he wins ...

But I believe he's there at the invitation of Russ Anber, who is part of Wilder's team as well as Pascal's.

I hope he does. As long as any of those 2 journeyman doesn't fight Klitschko, it's all good for me!

Actually it would be a nice fight if Wilder fought the winner of this fight. The winner of this scenario would have pretty solid argument for being the #2 contender in the division behind Povetkin.

It would be a risky but possibly smart move by Glazkov/Cunningham as well.

Right now the winner gets a shot at Wlad but if they were to upset Wilder first they'd have a lot more leverage in negotiating a unification with Wlad over being a mandatory.

Or since Povetkin would be their mandatory if they beat Wilder they could hope Povetkin's team offers another huge purse like they did with Wlad, obviously not as much as Wlad got though.

I doubt Wilder fights either one of these guys next but either guy would be a nice first defense for him.

A champion does not "call out" anyone....the only person who is a champion's equal is another champion...in this case Wladimir Klitschko.

Wilder is more of a Chagaev equal rather than Wladimir Klitschko.

So this means Wilder has a passport, and no further reason to duck fighters worldwide.

I'm sure Glgazkov and Cunningham have both been told to "call out Wilder" in the ring after the fight, should either of them win.

Who does everyone have in this fight?

I want to pick Glazkov but he's inconsistent for a heavy at this level. He did look great vrs Adamek but Adamek is not the win it once was.

Cunningham is surely past his best but in his prime he could have beaten Glazkov by utilizing his jab, reach, and speed. However, Cunningham is not as fast as he used to be and has been tagged alot in recent bouts. Still, USS had plenty of time to prepare for this fight. And he has a great trainer who will have a plan for Glazkov.

But overall I don't believe USS will be able to execute it and Glazkov will eventually snag the KO.
