Ortiz wouldn't duck Joshua. If memory serves it was a promoter dispute.

But Whyte did in fact duck a final eliminator with Ortiz... If Whyte had taken the fight and won he would have got his Wilder shot in 2019. Whyte wanted no part of a tricky southpaw counter puncher

    Continue in your delusions, then.

He's consistently been rated top ten and done **** all to justify it.

Povetkin 2 should not be on this list for Whyte. He was already 41 and had coronavirus. He didn't even look like he was really there to compete in the rematch.

Stopped reading at the garbage about Rivas being arguably a better win than Ortiz and them struggling about the same against Jennings. Ortiz fought the much better Jennings(at the time, Jennings had the same esteem among fans as Micheal Hunter does today and was a borderline top5 HW) and put on a far, far superior performance. Not to mention, Hammer, Scott, Old Tony Thompson and even Dave Allen, would be Rivas’ second, third, fourth and fifth best wins.

It may not be just among the champs though. Wilder avoided the top 10 like the plague. I imagine even Whyte, old Povetkin, old Wlad, Joyce would stop him. Hell, guys like Paker would be a live dog against him.

He was always #3 before Usyk entered the division, behind Fury & AJ.

With Usyk in the division, he's #4.

That's how most reasonable people rank him.

That's why I was very specific about just limiting it to the champs

Another US boxing fans dreams: boxer's PR and passport is everything for majority of fans.
Wilder under pro rules not likely was able to beat amateur boxer Russo versions from Olympic Games.:p
And do not talk about killer D.W here.
If in Games they had maybe 8 rounder 8X3 minutes vs Russo, It most likely had been Wilder not Russo who had been finished in distance.;)
Btw then Wilder was better boxer than he was later in pro ranks.:D

Whyte maybe is chinny but he does have more 1 punch power than Fury and Wilder is US fanbase hypejob train.
Usyk Isn't 40 y.o uncle Ortiz and Stiverne for sure.
A.J : we might talk what we wish to imagine, does have 2 very heavy hands. Yes, looks that he does get tired when he attempts to get someone out.
Still, he is far more less predictable than Wilder and yeah, with 2 heavy hands.

Wilder would never land a flush right on Usyk. He’d lose every round on the cards too.

He'd just be another punchbag on Wlad's resume if he fought him.

Slow, plodding, one-two dosser with a mean grimace and a heart condition, who's beaten one live body in his entire career. Nothing grotesque about where any sane person rates him.

I suppose you rate slow as molasses Tony Thompson a lot higher than him :buenrollo:

The younger version Wlad KOed or the ancient geriatric that's one of Ortiz's best wins?

    He's also grossly under-aged!
