Ever since he got that surgery to fix the right arm, the man's been on a tear, knocking brothas out left and right. World class men.

No one can take that power. It just doesn't exist damnit.

A 214lb man is knocking out 250 lb men without much difficulty. How can anyone say his power ain't demonic?

The final uppercut he landed is one of his best weapons I first noticed it in Stiverne I and since then it’s probably his best technically sound and polished power punch. Interestingly enough he has the ability to execute it from many different angles with the same consistent form.

Anywho I wouldn’t rate his power above a freakish Jackson just yet since the Hawk used to put people to sleep with a lot less emphasis on the delivery. Julian’s power was effortless while Wilder noticeably generates his power, both contain dynamite.

With all due respect to Jackson, Wilder is knocking out men that outweigh him by 30+ lbs. His power is unreal.

Lol with all due respect that isn't how the heavyweight division works. Wilder chooses to come in light because he wants too. Other fighters come in heavyweight because they want too. You think weight is going to fix your chin?

Pound for pound, we always have to exclude Heavyweights. However, Deontay Wilder is a Cruiser destroying Heavyweights, so he is the first Heavyweight champion to be a legit Top Pound for Pound puncher.

Deontay Wilder commitment to punching is impressive, his awkward angles help him vs schooled boxers accustomed to blocking text book punches. If Wilder throws them straighter many of those punches will be blocked and countered, a bit of Julian Jackson and Prince Hamed angles, a bit of Trinidad finishing capability, his Volume reminds us of Edwin Valero. However, its only proper to put Deontay Wilder in a class of his own as he is the first of his kind, similar to other ATGs who had their own distinguished styles

Ortiz isn't a 250 pound man. He is a 220 pound man who was over weight. Wilder isn't usually 214 pounds. He normal weighs over 220. He just came in light so he could run the first 4 rounds.

Ortiz isn't world class. He is a 50 year old guy who never beat anybody in his career. Wilder has yet to face a world class fighter. Unless you consider overweight 40 year old Bermaine Steverne and 40 year old Chris Arreola to be in their primes or even good. You Wilder fans are becoming worse than Mayweather fans. Not quite as stupid or annoying as Rocky Marciano fans though.

Weight can certainly help with punch resistance, especially when your foundation can make or break a refs decision to stop or allow a fight to go on regardless of your chins actual state or condition at that very moment.

Thats what pound for pound means, Deontay Wilder is really a scaled up Sugar Ray Robinson, a Sugar Ray Robinson coming at Cruiser limit and with Wilder reach will do the same as Wilder did.

Wrong again. He'd 246 pounds and was over 250 easily fight night.

He came in to build for speed and it was a very good decision. He was very fast on fight night.

Ortiz was 28, nowhere near 40 never mind 50

    Ortiz was easily top 5

Wilder is the best hw ATM. Most peiple know that
