Just watched Wilders recent interview and he seems very worried about Ortiz power and boxing skills. He knows his glass jaw is going to get shattered soon by the heart patient.
wilder is all over the place i mean he is talking about peds one min then the next he is saying he is gonna hurt him wilder is talking alot but ortiz is quite knows what he wants to do
Wilder is there to be countered and Ortiz has the goods to get the job done. Thing is I don’t see the same wild swinging wilder coming out like that this time, I think he’ll be cagey and use his jab a lot keeping Ortiz at bay with it. If wilder sticks with the jab it could be a crap fight but he’ll win, if he lets his hands go though that’s when Ortiz can have some success and things could get interesting.
I do not know if he is scared right now but after feeling the first left uppercut or left counter on his head, chin or body he will be scared if he still has the time to be scared. Wilder isn't the type of boxer who will fight smart a whole fight. He simply is not able to do that because of his nature. He won't let the jab work for him all 12 rounds. And because of that this is gonna happen...
Nah, I'm not a fan of Wilder but I wouldn't say he is scared of any fighter. He is under tremendous pressure, pressure he has put on himself, saying he'd beat a prime Tyson and other legendary fighters, saying he is the number 1 in the division, saying all sorts of outrageous things. I have no problem with that, I like confidence and a little bit of trash talking but Wilder knows this is a potential banana skin to his hopes of a huge fight and monster payday against Joshua (assuming AJ beats Parker). So after all the boasts, claims and threats Wilder has no choice but to deliver or he looks a complete fool and it could be a difficult fight to look good in. If Wilder loses this fight then his reputation is completely shredded, so it's just pressure, the biggest pressure he has probably ever faced.
