He reminds me of Max Baer. God given power, and coordination, and totally dependent on that! Such a man will never wear the crown for long! PS I don't think that his chin is in the Max Baer category!
I think he's a top tier puncher in terms of power, which is what's allowed him to get to a high level with such limitations. In terms of setting up his punches, timing them etc. not so much. It's really hard to compare punching power across eras.
Mike Tyson has always been my man, I just can't stand the nauseating fandom on here which is way out of touch with reality. And power is a massive factor in a fight at the end of the day.
There's not a single fighter that Wilder's stopped or KO'd that Foreman, Tyson or Lewis wouldn't either.
You do not know that, just like I think Wilder would knock out fighters they couldn't. It wouldn't be because of a lack of power if he couldn't either.
I think it's you being silly, Wlad hardly threw any punches. Who's Wilder fought apart from Fury who can take a shot but has been down before and a 37 year old who was also giving him a lesson before getting caught. Have you viewed every heavyweight who fought and seen all fights, er no! Has Wilder got good power, it's a yes but it's hardly a great era with great fighters so your ballyhoo is very over dramatic and sycophantic
OK lets take your claim to its logical conclusion! The hardest puncher in history was a 212lb fighter! Obviously size and muscle mass, count for very little in this scenario!
Wlad landed shots, none bothered Fury at all. You want Tyson to stick his chin out and let him hit him to find out the answer? I don't care if it's the best era or not, the man can clearly hits like a mule. You'd have to be a special kind of dumb to try and say otherwise.
Didn't say he's a powderpuff puncher but needs a little perspective. If he fought in a tougher era would he have this many knockouts, I don't believe he would but that's fantasy dribble as I don't know and neither do you. It's hypothetical like the many threads on fighter A from 1980's vs fighter B from 1960's that are popular on these boards which I detest. Is Deontay the biggest one shot puncher in the heavy division right now then I would probably agree with you but in history, pure conjecture.
Only Wass has the nerve to double down after Wilder gets exposed. Anyone else would hope people forgot their spurious claim.
It's supernatural power cooked up in occultic rituals that he was introduced to by powerful people in the shadows like Al Haymon. I actually thought Wilder might kill Fury last night. I've seen too many signs. When I seen Fury crumble to the floor in the 12th and Wilder walking away doing a cut throat sign, then I thought he had got that body on his record that his alter ego craves. But alas, it seems something other worldly managed to protect Fury last night. This went deeper than the physical realm. Wilder will kill someone in his career though.
That was not your typical punch even if he had not been known as a KO puncher that was a great KO punch
