Pure speculation on your part. There are plenty of heavyweights through the years that if they landed their bread and butter punch, guys were dropping. Wilder hits no harder than Joshua, Wlad, Lewis, etc. He damn sure doesn't hit harder than Felix Savon.
No, just No. Everybody can keep saying "I don't believe Fury got up" but he did. Wilder punches hard, no doubt, but let's be serious, look at the fighters Wilder has fought and tell me that other Heavyweights wouldn't have a very very similar record if they fought that opposition. If AJ fought the same opposition Wilder has I don't believe any of them would have heard the final bell.
P4P he's one of the hardest punching HWs of recent decades. Bearing in mind he's only 212-215 lbs he's got freakish power, up there with the likes of Earnie Shavers (another 210lber who punched well above his weight).
Wilder is obviously a freakishly hard puncher, one of the hardest, for sure. But THE hardest... you are entitled to that opinion and honestly, it may even be true but I think his power needs to be tested against someone with a proven iron chin to really stake his claim on that title.
Also let's not forget one thing too, when Wilder punches, he puts absolutely everything into it (excepting for some jabs). That's why he misses so much. But there's been heavyweights who could KO someone with short punches out cold.
Wilder's power has proven to have failed against someone with a below 'iron' chin named Johann Duhaupas, who walked through flush, maximum powered / loaded up power punches from Wilder without even tasting the canvas once. A fully 'iron' chin is not even required here!
You do know how silly that is, i could name lots of examples to make you look daft. Just because the man has been knocked out before and Wilder didn't knock him out doesn't mean nothing. Some guys are hard to put away on certain occasions.
Yep and it's not just Duhaupas, Molina is another example of when he supposedly earth shattering power looked very ordinary. He hit Molina a lot but went 9 rounds with a guy Arreola took out in a round and Joshua carried until round 3. Wilder clearly hits hard but he isn't some other worldly puncher some of his fans make him out to be. He might not even be the hardest puncher in the division right now. I wanted him to fight Breazeale earlier this year just so we could see how his power dealt with a proven durable chin, I have a feeling Breazeale might give him far more trouble than some could foresee, he's as tough as nails and dangerous when hurt.
See above, you really need to go back to the drawing board son. fighter A knocking out fighter B quicker than fighter C doesn't mean he hits harder. How many times do you simpletons need telling that triangle theory doesn't work in boxing.
No HW in history has knocked every fighter out unconscious every time they have landed. Knocking another fighter out cold is not an easy feat whatsover. Remember that greatly loved fighter on here called Mike Tyson? Remember those bums he was knocking out on the way to his title challenge? Guess what, he knocked only 2 out cold at maximum. Of course he's a featherfist alright?
I think if Fury wasn't on drugs for them 3 years , be hard to knock Fury out , first knockdown wasn't much in it , Rematch would be great ,,
