The skill gap is just too wide. Sasha is going to land Wilder all night long and then catch Wilder via left hooks. Povetkin has also great chin. Wilder has no chance.

Probably true, but I wouldn't call it too wide. His height, power and speed what make this fight interesting.

Wilder is bigger and has a longer reach. I can see Wilder's jab giving Povetkin problems.

It's the fragile Wilder chin that most suggests to me a Pov KO. The only advantage Wilder has is size but it won't be enough. He would not take a quarter of the punishment Wach did.

He would have to use all the boxing guile he possesses because Povetkin seems to be on a mission but if his chin holds up (and it will have to) I can see him winning. It will be a war. Wilder will be tough to beat if his confidence gets a boost with a hard fought win over Povetkin.

Think what a hyped and great fight it would make for if Wilder beat Povetkin and then made a unification bout vs Wlad. It would be the biggest hw fight in many years, probably the biggest of Wlad's life. Wlad owned him in sparring, but if Wilder progresses that much, and Wlad would be over 40, it would make for legitimate questions as to who would win.

Yeah, all big ifs and maybes, and a long time away, but it would make for the best story for the final unification of the belts.

The skill gap is a problem. The CHIN gap is a bigger problem.

Wilder is better than people give him credit for. I think he will come in extremely cautious vs. Povetkin. Wilder will fight off his backfoot and try to avoid any infight situation. Sooner or later he will get caught though.

The jab of Wilder will control their fight. Povetkin isn't really an inside fighter. He's guy who tries to land a big hook, or trap you. The one thing that Povetkin does ok is that he will trade with you while you're throwing.

If you let Povetkin hit you he does damage. If you give him movement, and you hit him back hard...he becomes totally ineffective.

Look at the fights vs. Molina and Dahaupas. Wilder does not have a lot of power when boxing off the backfoot. In fact he looks rather clumsy and overly anxious to get his chin out of harm's way. Certainly he doesn't have a lot of power when he tries to box defensively.

if Povetkin starts with ripping Wilder with body shots to take the steam out of him, Windmills is going to lose the one thing that gives him a chance in this fight, his power punching, and Povetkin will have an easy night's work
