Since when has setting up a fight got to include another fighter?

Hearn made an offer, Wilder didn't accept it.

    - Career high payday.
    - A higher percantage against Joshua.
    - In Wilder's words, 'easy fight'.
    - Only man ranked top 10 in all governing bodies.

    Why not take it then?

    He's either scared or stupid.

If no AJ then I think he HAS to take it: it's either Whyte in the UK for 4 mil$ and massive exposure or Breazeale on PBChit for 1$ mil.

He was offered $4,000,000 to do it 12 months ago instead of Stiverne II.

Then Showtime forced him to fight Ortiz because they were fed up of his poor opposition.

I just don't see Whyte posing more than a perfunctory threat to Wilder. The only reason he'd decline a big money payday against Whyte are political reasons. He may not want to kowtow to Hearn, or may want to try to strengthen his American appeal with a big Dom fight.

He turned down $3 mil plus US TV to fight Whyte before. His highest payday.

Personally, I don't hate Wilder, but I'd be nervous too if every time I closed my eyes I saw AJ, Fury, Whyte, Haye, Bellew, Chisora, Dubois, Joyce, Price, even Frank Bruno, all coming my way.

The Brits are coming, and we're coming for his belt.
