Were you there? Or did you see the tape? Cool... Sparring stories are the best and hold the most merit. Calderon UD Oscar Monzon KO Frazier Duran KO horse
So far Wilder hasn't been knocked out. He has not been ko'd by a Torrecampo, Purrity, or Prescott type fighter. We will find out when he steps up the comp how good his chin is.
Torrecampo ko'd Pacquiao when he was 17, Wlad was 22 and that stoppage was more to do with him being extremely gased than having a bad chin Khan was 21 and Prescott is a lot better competition than anything Wilders faced and his going to be 29 before the year is out. Don't want to keep referring to Hughie Fury but if he keeps up at this pace he will have accomplished more by the age of 19 and in a year and a half as a pro than Wilder has accomplished by the age of 28 and 5 years as a por
You keep saying this over n over yet no Wlad v Wilder sparring video...so no source to back your claims up. I can believe it..but what you offer is no more than hearsay. The Haye spar vid - was a couple of seconds worth of Haye's probable best moments that were used to highlight Hayes prep for the Fury fight first time around...before he cancelled it. Its all possible and maybe even probable what you say but as you offer nothing it has to go in the file marked BS.
No cos I see that as KO1 win for Wilder. In fact Tyson Fury vs Wilder would likely end the same way going by the scary hold on for dear life moments in Furys last fight. I see Wilder as a prospect with lots of flaws and questions to answer. But I've already seen enough of Tyson Fury to be confident that he's not gonna get to the top. His mouth is way better than his ability IMO.
Most hypothetical match ups involving Wilder are just dismissed as first round ko's but what happens when Wilder hits Fury and he doesn't go down and hits him back? to this point in his career his never had to deal with that. I was impressed with how Wilder dealt with Firtha but Firtha took lots of clean shots off Wilder and he didn't go down early, against a better level of opposition he will have shots coming back at him
meh, if Steve Cunningham put Fury on his ass, Wilder, assuming he hits Fury, will knock him all the way to the ticketbox.
