I taught I told you to name me a wilder opponent who wasn't already a bum before he faced them, go off and do that now like a good boy and when your finished il let you get back to trolling
Wilder has yet to face a top 50 heavy, he's a joke.... He will be facing his first top 50 opponent next month, as handpicked as it gets in Malik Scott....... If Scott had any sort of power he would knock out Wilder no problem, heck even if with his lack of power he has a shot at outboxing Wilder should this get past the early rounds, and it would not shock me if Scott somehow got Wilder out there, we're talking about a guy who possibly has a Khan -Esque chin! With all that being said, Wilders management handpicked Scott for a reason... Low risk, High reward type of opponent.
Whoa. Whoa whoa whoa. Some key differences there. :yep I know you get that but just need to stress it. 1) Mayweather got dropped, got up and still won. (albeit by the skin of his teeth: http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=456941) 2) There is a huge difference in class between Evgeniy Romanov (that's who kayos Wilder in the video in the OP; strange his name has yet to be uttered once in here...) and Lorenzo freaking Aragón, who easily would've made the HOF if he ever turned pro. Mind you, Romanov is actually very good and considered a huge puncher for the amateurs - for a functional cruiser, anyway...being in the regular heavy and not super heavyweight division and competing with guys who mostly go pro @ cruiser... - but in p4p terms he is light years behind Aragón.
Quit with the excuses. Knockdowns are knockdowns, and knockouts are knockouts. And nobody care about Hughie Fury.
that knockout was probably one of the best things that ever happened to him. he's grown as a fighter and is completely different now. it happens.
his stance is totally different now. he appears open to the straight rights...but he's sitting on the back foot much more. it's not as easy to land that shot with all of his length plus he can see the shot coming. in the video of this ko...he's more foward...therefore, easier to hit. the other thing is that he's been working with mark breland who has given him better understanding of boxing. the guy that trained him as an amateur didn't have a clue.
fighters aren't capable of learning? growing? changing? your comment shows your lack of understanding of the sport.
Why everyone so keen to see Wilder get kayoed? His power alone should be enough to excite any boxing fan. Yeh he'll prob get his chin cracked somewhere along the way but im gonna sit back and enjoy the ride :happy BOMB SQUAD :happy
K T F O is awaiting him in not more than 3 bouts from that point on. He simply can't get past Arreola or Steverne. I am surely going to put a bet that Wilder will surely lose by KO in the next 5 bouts he has. :happy BUM SQUAD :happy
