Benn had a great chin as well. he could take some serious shots you know.

I thought he looked ok. It didn't last long enough to get much of a view on his improvement. I would say that he needs to put on some weight. For a man 6'7 to weigh @ 230 is too thin. If I were Breland, who is also a toothpick, I would bulk up his legs a bit and get to around 250-260. Then start fighting anyone in the top twenty.

 

Wake me up when he fights someone with a pulse.

BTW Benn is my favourite UK fiigter but against Logan, Galvano, Dewitt, Watson and various others (although not koed) he looked well chinny to me.

 

Wilder looked a little sharper and less crude than he usually does, but he still made lots of mistakes that any elite guy could take advantage of. All Wilder does is look for the right hand, he doesn't "box". yeah he may look impressive now blasting out stiffs and hasbeens, but I think he and his horde of fanboys are in for a rude awakening when he steps in with a guy who can take Wilder deep and really test him. Wilder will fold as soon as he steps in with a guy that he can't take out in the early rounds, calling it now.

 

Wilder can't jab... All he has is the right hand. I can't believe there are really people on here touting Wilder as the man to beat Wlad. Wlad would jab his head off and land with the 1-2 at will, it would be a squash match. At least Wach has a granite chin and was able to absorb Wlads shots, Wilder wouldn't even make it past the early rounds against Wlad. he's far too crude and one dimensional, plus his chin is glass.

 

Saxon, Wilder is not really that skilled. he just has good power, and that can only take you so far if you don't have the skills/fundamentals to back it up. You said Wilders chin isn't great, but that he can overcome that weakness with his skills... No Wilder is not skilled enough to overcome the barrier that is his weak chin.. Wlad is a a bit chinny, but incredibly skilled so he overcame his semi-weak chin, Lewis was the same. BUT both aforementioned guys have/had 100x the skill that Wilder possesses, also in comparison to Wilder, Wlad and Lewis have caste iron chins. So Wilder won't be winning a world title any time soon, he's too crude and his chin is too weak.

 

I agree his jab is nowhere the level of W.Klitschko. It seems like fighters are kind of afraid of his jab but that is because the know what is coming behind it. With some more experience I would say that if anybody, Wilder will be the man to beat W.Klitschko.
