the thing is, its the only hate that is actually warranted. If he didn't talk, then I wouldn't mind him!
There’s a thought that Wilder fights down to the level of opposition he’s facing and there could be some truth to that as he’s been in with so many guys who he knew just weren’t on his level.
I "try the sport" on a regular basis. To me it looks like hook work and stepping in. His hands are still way too low and why the f* is he not covering up after throwing!? Treading on eggshells as Ortiz (never mind his age) is a good counter-hooker.
He's not covering up and throwing because there is no live body trying to hit him back. It's training. And his hands aren't way to low. Again it's training. There are other exercise regimens for that. There are many things fighters do that fans don't get to see. Public access is public access. Private is private. Here is Wilder using just the jab and step around. This content is protected
If thats true then its simply bad practice. Always keeping your hands up makes it become second nature. Again "protect yourself AT ALL times". Its nice to see Wilder use that Lennox-jab the ATG Lewis showed him in that car park all those years ago.
There's no denying AJ has better skills and technique. But if they both throw the right hand Wilders will land first, and with more power
I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the fact that Breland is in a southpaw stance in order to imitate Luis Ortiz.
Wilder looking and sounding confident. Seriously need to keep an ambulance at the ready for Ortiz because he's going to need it.
