Wilder loses court case to Povetkin!

No it isn't. The mony belonged to Povetkin's promoter. All he did was get it back. Wilder may have legal bills to pay, though.

 

The money has hopefully sat in escrow until all legal proceedings were concluded. Wilder should be ok unless he's counted on it and gone on an ill advised spending spree buying ludicrous gold face masks or ridiculous looking coats.

I said it at the time when the fight was announced, and I stick to it, that fight was NEVER gonna happen.

That shady so-and-so Al Haymon pulled some strings. Was Povetkin on PEDs? Probably but I bet most are and it's mostly covered up barring any mishaps. However, when needed, I'm sure certain individuals can pull strings to bring out the positive tests!

The Povetkin-Wilder fight was canceled after a positive sample test by Povetkin containing a trace of meldonium. However, later Povetkin was declared not guilty, and it was found that he did not take meldonium after its official prohibition that started January 1, 2016.

Wilder was begging the WBC to cancel the fight long before the VADA test, Povetkin was cleared and later on found innocent in a court of law! WBC could have allowed the fight to go on, but Haymon ordered the WBC to cancel it, after all, Ryabinskiy won the purse bid, there was zero reason to cancel the fight. Povetkin did not test positive two time as some lies are claiming, Povetkin did nothing wrong, that fight should be ordered, but someone is stopping it, guess who?
