    3 quick observations:
1 Yes, appeared to be sniffing but that could just be the weather, rather than the ol' marching powder
2 He's absolutely psychologically destroyed by Fury .... worse than almost any fighter I've seen. He can't bring himself to accept any loss to Fury, and probably never will
    3. Simon Jordan, love him or hate him, has balls of steel. He's dedicated to his work.

I hate the guy, but props for him for confronting Wilder on air.

They are going to bring in Fury to stir stuff up. Get ratings. Pump up the promotion. Make Wilder crazy. But Fury won't be the guy in the ring with Wilder.

Wilder might literally kill Derek Chisora that night. And everyone who stirred the pot won't blame the promoters, or the talking heads, or all the assorted folks working overtime to enrage Wilder.

They will just blame Wilder for killing Derek Chisora and say Chisora had no business being in there.

When Wilder would've just preferred going straight for Usyk.

Truth is, they "want" Wilder to nearly kill this guy. It helps sells Usyk-Wilder. And makes another Wilder-Fury fight marketable, because they never got one from the original series of fights in the UK. (Fury getting revenge for his dead or crippled friend). It's sick.

They should've just let Usyk-Wilder go ahead.

Chisora is the betting favourite for this fight, and Wilder has looked so poor in his recent fights.

Wilder won every round in his last fight, scored multiple knockdowns, and never lost a minute of that fight. And he couldn't care less about his opponent. It was a sparring session.

Now, they're going to get him all worked up and wanting to kill Chisora.

Chisora hasn't stopped someone in seven years. Gerald Washington almost edged him, for Christ's sake.

I think Deontay Wilder has serious mental issues and I don't mean that in a derogatory way, I mean it genuinely.

This seems deeper than simply being a sore loser which is nothing new in boxing. From being convinced of downright stupid conspiracy theories for years to breaking down crying after knocking out Helenius, I think Wilder actually needs help.

On the contrary, if he's going to fight, I'd rather see Wilder in this mental state. Wilder crying after KOing Helenius because he thought he hurt his friend isn't the right mindset for him to win. He was seeing counselors to help him acclimate to retired life after the third Fury fight. Now, he's had surgery to repair an injured right shoulder that bothered him for years. He's getting his killer mindset back.

    To quote Norman Mailer:
"It can, in fact, be said that heavyweights are always the most lunatic of prizefighters. The closer a heavyweight comes to the championship, the more natural it is for him to be a little bit insane, secretly insane, for the heavyweight champion is either the toughest man in the world or he is not, but there is a real possibility he is. Lightweights, welterweights, and middleweights can all be exceptionally good, fantastically talented. But the best lightweight knows a middleweight can defeat him on most nights. But heavyweights have no such simple sanity."

All the great heavyweight champions were a bit nuts, if not publicly, then privately. Wilder certainly was in his heyday.

Deontay Wilder at his best had that mindset. He always believed he could win. He refused to ever quit. And if they get him all riled up thinking it'll help Chisora, they're wrong. Because Fury won't be the guy in there fighting Wilder.

"Serious mental issues’' in my day, it was called being a complete ****ing moron with a very large...ego.

The man is just genuinely ****ing stupid and has nothing remotely likeable about him.

You've clearly never been around boxers as they were preparing for a fight.

Everyone knows not to poke them once they've begun preparing for a fight, especially when they are upfront and say don't go there repeatedly.

Boxers, by and large, are the nicest athletes to be around after a fight, and when they have no fights scheduled. But, once they begin to prepare, you better listen when they tell you to back off.

He's not playing around. People on this board love to bash Wilder. But he was one of the most dangerous heavyweights in history.

That guy wasn't trolling him online. Wilder was in the room with him. It's not a joke. You don't push those guys when they warn you not to. They aren't people who make idle threats.

It's something most grown men used to learn at a much younger age. Maybe that guy forgot, until Wilder got up and started walking toward him, and everyone else started standing up, too.
