    No, no no no no.

If this happens there will be 10 years+ of hypothetical match-up threads on this site with Wilder beating every HW champ, past, present and future.

It's bad enough with Haye being perpetual holder of the prestigious hypothetical match-up HW/CW belts.

    I disagree.

The zombies that Wilder has fought have been toothless and at most could give one's flesh a good suck.

But I think he would beat a lot of those guys...

Haye: Who knows how good he is these days. He hasn't faced anyone decent in over 4 years. He's also a lot older. Not good for a fighter who relies on speed.
Povetkin: Too short. Poor movement. Wilder would range him just like Stiverne.
Parker: Poor reach. Same deal as Povetkin/Stiverne.
    Fury: Out of the game
Joshua: I have no idea where this guy's level is. All of his opponents have been terrible. Much worse than Wilder's.

I might favor Ortiz over Wilder. Not sure.

I hadn't thought of that! Yes I see your point.

WBC offers Wilder a tune up fight. Wilder makes his comeback against Andy Ruiz, after Parker dispatches him. He wins that, then has to fight Povetkin. He wins that by brutal KO. The unification fight happens against Parker.

Parker schools him with supreme movement and brutal bodyshots. Wilder gets knocked down in Rounds 2 and 3 then quits on his stool in Round 4.

Wilder retires after sighting his past hand injuries as the reason, and starts his own BBQ restaurant in Alabama, specialising in exotic food.

    Wilder's Wild BBQ.

    Certa
Certainly the most likely scenario is that the WBC will only sacrifice protected Wilder, once a clearly superior US based fighter becomes available...so the strap stays stateside.

At the moment they are still content with Wilder.

If I have to be honest , Wilder beats Klitschko because of his punching power. Ortiz and Wilder won't ever face each other. Or if they do, Ortiz will be older and Wilder will beat him. Povetkin will suffer the same problem as Stiverne , too short and will be kept away with distance. Pulev doesn't have a chance vs Wilder. The only two fighters right now that are the real deal are Parker and Joshua. Young and amazing athletes , the future is in front of them. I can see Wilder getting beaten only by them. Haye is in the past... I won't even think he will be around the scene for too long.
Wilder will take for sure another stupid defense of his title. I am going for Miller, Jennings or Washington. Miller and Washington will be ko'ed , Jennings will loose by UD. And then he will face the winner of Povetkin/Stiverne in June/July. I hope it won't be Stiverne cause he is done. He has to get used with the status of a gatekeaper.

So? It's a boxing forum, you're more interested in the 'fact' than anything else. If it's upsetting you so much join a dictionary forum an vent

The Heavyweight division is so bad, that I honestly won't be surprised if he goes on to 2018 and remains undefeated.

I don't think it's great either but I think there's 2-3 people that beat him

It's a fact that the OP doesn't know what the word 'fact' means. It isn't a fact that Wilder loses in 2017, not if he continues somehow to avoid any meaningful opponents, which I have full faith in him doing.

Joshuas opponents are nowhere near as bad as those who appear on Wilders padded record.
