    I believe boxers and other sportsmen taking part in a dangerous sport should be allowed a special tax rate or a special deduction because they have a very limited amount of time to make life changing sums of money and one fight could end their careers and lives and leave them incapacitated going forward, its unfair for the govt to take away 40-50% of their purses.

    So your thread title is wrong along with your assumptions on his earnings!! He got paid 29 mill for Brezeale fight you say!? Hahaha so he got more for that non PPV fight than he did for the Fury fight!? Lol have a think before you post this garbage.

    Haven’t once said I dislike him and could not care less. Point of a forum is to have conversation. Just merely pointing out reliability on forbes who have no access to confidential information into people’s personal finances is unreliable. On a side note most offshore accounts are set up for tax efficiency and high interest income. Which is a source of income. You raised a point i don’t agree with that point and you now get aggy when questioned.

    Calm down you're taking all of this very seriously it’s only a chat about boxing if your going to cry about it maybe don’t get involved in the first place

    You don't know what you are talking about. Those Forbes articles describe earnings, not investment income.

    So you don’t earn from investments? They are earnings McGregor is included income from Proper 12 whiskey which Is an investment. I am not sure how Forbes are finding out that ncinevas no workdwide sales figures have been disclosed. Neither has Mcgregors percentage ownership of the company. AJs income from his 258 management company also isn’t mentioned by Forbes. I doubt he is managing the likes of Okolie and buatsi for free. All I am saying is people at Forbes making guesstimates cannot be taken as gospel. It says clearly on most of the athletes income figures ‘Forbes estimates’ meaning they are guessing

    Anyway I can’t be arsed... believe whatever you like.
