The media would of wanted to speak to Wilder. Sky would of used there platform to get him over. Wilder just doesn't want it. Doesn't want Whyte doesn't want AJ.
Wilder getting in the ring to specifically square off against Joshua undermines the whole fight; I can’t see Parker being happy about it either it makes him look like a sideshow, exactly like the Molina fight, that was a complete joke to begin with. This is going to be a easy fight for Joshua, but it will be the second biggest fight of his career. He’s going to be concentrating on Parker, and not some silly clown getting in the ring after the fight. If Wilder does not want to come over to the UK fine, nobody really should care. It only benefits Wilder, so it’s his loss.
Why would you let him in the ring he has no relevance..........NO CONTRACT SIGNED........Klit signed the contract thats why he got in the ring after the Molina fight.
Exactly this. Wilder hasn't earned the right to jump in the ring. He isn't even at the negotiating table. He could still be there in the post-fight interviews, etc. He will get his chance, just not immediately after a fight where nobody knows the outcome. If it's a long gruelling fight or an absolute war, the last thing you will want is Wilder screaming in your face immediately afterwards.
That's money to come over, be nice, play by the rules and do as he's told. Some would doff their cap obligingly, for sure, but it's not for everyone. Truth is, nobody wants nor cares for Wilder-Whyte. Joshua-Wilder should happen next, and both Joshua and Hearn have sent out discouraging signals re. Wilder's intent to make his presence forcefully felt in that ring after Joshua (according to script) deals with Parker. Deontay rudely crashing the celebration party would do infinitely more to promote Joshua-Wilder and capture the imagination of the casual audience than matching Wilder with Whyte and then having Wilder enter the ring after Joshua's next fight for a cuddly, vomit-inducing, stage-managed announcement replete with declarations of mutual respect and admiration, but their game is to defang Wilder by averting a situation that they can't control and humbling him from the off.
He knows what will happen. They will just talk about Whtye to him all night then get whyte in his face creating 'beef' **** the Whyte fight
Hahahahah he doesn't want to get in the ring with Joshua and if he stays out the ring, ringside, Whytes gonna slap him up. Stay in the States and watching it on the Tv in his home is the safest option for him.
I refer you to the IFL TV interview with Hearn @Jim Jeffries posted on this thread. Nobody can believe Wilder isn't turning up, he was being PAID to turn up, put up in a top hotel and would be RINGSIDE. The worlds Media in attendance, global coverage and Wilder stays at home? GTFO
If that means acting like an adult and not a spoilt child, then I guess you're right. Whyte is now Wilder's mandatory. You do know what means don't you?
It wouldn't have done Wilder any harm to show up, then fight Whyte beat him on UK soil then the Joshua-Wilder fight sells itself. I think he should fight his mandatory in Whyte. I think Wilder just views Whyte as Hearn's ''spare tyre'' to slow down negotiations. I think this is all about Wilder's EGO and not wanting to give Hearn what he wants. I don't think Wilder is ''scared'' as a boxer. I will say the Hearns have got their biggest cash cow ever since Barry Hearn started promoting. The Hearns lie a lot but i think this is simply about ego and pride here. Wilder in the back of his mind may think ''I want this fight in the USA'' and i think it's more about the judging and being on home soil than ticket sales/ppv sales for Wilder. He's also recently talked about ''ped testing'' yesterday. This content is protected
"NOBODY" can believe it? I thought Hearn said Wilder was a minor player? A nobody? Fans didn't even know who he was? He wouldn't be allowed to enter the ring and talk to Joshua? I thought Wilder needed to know his place? I thought Wilder needed to just accept what they offered and be happy with it? So Wilder told them to screw and they are going crazy because now that he's not going he's suddenly NEEDED there? Christ. People are sure upset that a "nobody" didn't show up. Here's what happened. Tyson Fury is going to sign with Frank Warren. There is going to be NO Joshua-Fury fight this year. If Joshua blows out Parker, he's got nothing but three mandatories to fight for the next year. And now JOSHUA NEEDS WILDER. And Wilder just told them to stick it up their butts. If they want to deal with him, he'll be in the U.S. And if he has to fight Whyte next, Whyte will have to come to the U.S., too. No big stadium fight for Eddie. Joshua-Wilder is the biggest matchup in the entire sport of boxing right now. They've badmouthed Wilder the whole time and put him down. But they're going to "need" him and U.S. PPV dollars if Joshua beats Parker, and they know it. You don't **** where you eat. And Eddie's been doing a lot of shiting when it comes to Wilder.
