It would be an easy fight for Wilder, if the money exists, which it most likely does not.

Briggs is an asthmatic who has already been sent into brain damagement retirement by Vitali. He throws about 5 punches per round these days and does a lot of posturing, more than actual attacks. Wilder would find it extremely easy to get a bore 12 round decision win over him.

Briggs is more flatfooted than Stiverne....

But at least he comes forward.

I'd give Briggs said 30% chance of winning.
One thing is certain though....
If Briggs caught wilder with a punch, he'd throw until he KOD him or fell over into an asthma attack.
Wilder should consider this fight, it would be just as credible as Briggs best wins over 46 yo Mercer and 48 yo Foreman

 

Wilder will seek an easier fight. This one will not happen. Wilder is a disgrace. He should fight his mandatory in September.
