60/40 seems reasonable to me. Both guys don’t have a lot of options in my opinion.

It all depends on what sort of condition he shows up in. Fit Ruiz gives Wilder a headache. Fat Ruiz gets KO’d inside 5.

 

And this is why the HW division is stagnant right now. All the current champions and ex champions have gotten a taste of $10+ million in a fight and are expecting that much or more to fight each other.

 

Ruiz has the best win out of the two of them. Beat Ortiz beat AJ, former unified champ.

Why does Wilder deserve more? Wilder is hardly a massive draw.

Wilder also struggled immensely vs Ortiz aswell.

I agree though that it shouldn't be 50/50 I think 60/40 would be fair.

Bro Wilder and Ruiz was ordered to fight since what? Last year? If Wilder wanted that fight, he would have already make it.
There is a zero chance that Wilder, who was been ducking fighters all of his careers and never fight a fighter in his prime or close to it, will suddenly start taking any risk.
And you got to have in mind that Ruiz is currently going through hell and lost tons of weight, and is probably not training. He is getting sued by his ex-wife, who wants to take everything from him, and Wilder still don't have the balls to fight him ....

And then some trolls on here saying that Wilder will beat AJ, yeah good luck with that.

Aha the bigger draw, the one that couldn't sell even 100k. for his return fight? Less than 75k. against Helenius. Never being a draw, never sold any big PPV number.

Wilder was one belt Champion, Ruiz was Unified Champion.
Neither are Champion, they are number 1/2 in the division, so this is a true 50-50 fight.
Also neither is a huge PPV star.

Wilder sold less than 75k. PPV in his "BIG Return" fight. And if we looking at the total PPV numbers, it's going to be in Ruiz favor.

In order to sell a good fight, you need 2 players.
Currently no one in the HW division is the A side, maybe with the exception of AJ, cause he holds all the records in PPV, but he lost draw power, due to losing the titles.

70-30 is a typical mandatory split with a champion and mandatory.

Sorry, but this is a true 50-50, or at the best 55-45 split. And most probably should be 45-45 split, and the rest for the winner. Make it 40-40 and the rest for the winner is fair as well.
