Do I have to spell it out for you?

Deontay Wilder is the most famous boxer in the world ... and he got there because more people IN THE WORLD know him by his actions in the ring (his exciting performances).

He's the MOST FAMOUS because people like to watch him knock people out.

They don't know him by his funny social media 'dosser' barbs or from his slickly produced commercials that air during TV shows they like, they know him BY HIS EXCITING FIGHTS.

So much so, that the LEADING SPORTS CHANNEL in the U.S. has rated him the most famous boxer in the whole world right now.

So much so that every network that televises boxing in the US and now the UK are engaged in bidding wars for him.

    Do you GET THAT?

Even with all the other guys' social media accounts and their endorsements, Wilder has more fame than all of them. And he got that fame by what he's done IN THE RING.

    Not because he's slickly produced.

Nobody cares what he posts on Twitter. Nobody cares if he promotes sports equipment or a fruit drink.

They only care about watching him knock people out. And he's the MOST FAMOUS BOXER in the world because he does just that.

If you want a list of the sports stars with the largest social media followings, go right ahead and start one.

Wilder is the most famous boxer in the world because of what he does in the ring. That's it.

I am surprised, but sky usually outbids most British channels for sports events so maybe that`s the reason.

How can ESPN tell if Wilder is the most famous boxer in the world?

Why is anyone humouring this odd person who is just here to wind you up? Her continual posts about Wilder being the most famous boxer based on ESPN’s list is just a ploy to get you to reply to fill her life with some form of online interaction. Just ignore the posts and they will go away until she creates a new account

I can tell your an LDBC Wilder fanboy right off the bat . A number of reasons Wilder would throw his belt in the garbage as you say .

    1) The fact he is quoting Bowe and is likewise a single belt holder .
    2) His networks and management have absolutely no faith in Wilder's long-term career .
    3) His last two opponents are considered top draw and yet he struggled through both and has not even improved at all .
    4) Every and I do mean every American boxing legend living has stated that Wilder got exposed and is not top-notch .
    5) His poor and shoddy negotiation skills , he out-prices himself for fights to be made .
    6) Every boxing outlet considers him to be the weakest of the bunch and ready to be taken .
    7) His constant contradictions and false statements .
    8) He has stated numerous times that he wants to either change weight class , career , shows he is not confident himself .

Come back and make a coherent point rather than trying to say Wilder Brezealle will get more views on sky than AJ Miller. Firstly, this Wilder v Brezealle fight will be non PPV and AJ Wilder is PPV and secondly, it will still prob do bigger numbers in the UK than Wilder v Brezealle! How about this for a ban bet, I bet AJ v Miller does more PPV buys than Wilder v Fury did!! 'Most famous boxer in the world' never even had a fight sellout!!

Wilders title fight vs Washington was televised live on fox. it ran against regular season NBA and NHL games on two other networks. guess which one finished a dismal third in viewership? yep, Wilders title bout. nobody in America knows who he is. at least no one outside the housing projects.

Success is now measured on Google searches?

Sorry remind me again how much the PPV is for his next fight? Which of these networks has he signed to again?
