Tyson fury isn't a pretender and at only 26 He's only just getting started..
I know styles make fights but Don't forget he dominated Crisora better than Klitschko in his last fight..

If Wilder does win, and wins spectacularly, a lot of people in here will have pie in their face. I think a lot of them will have to admit that they were wrong about him. I think most people in here respect what Fury has as a Boxer, it is just the people from Britain who hype him up beyond need which is okay, they haven't many big Boxing stars at that weight or around it.

I'd say of the two Wilder is the one who has been hyped beyond need considering his dreadful competition

Wilder will not win. Stiverne, and his camp, as limited as he/they are, know that all that Wilder has is a powerful yet telegraphed right hand. They will be prepared.

If Wilder id land the ultimate lucky shot, them yeah, he would leap frog way ahead.

But let us be honest and blunt that right now, Fury is light years ahead. He has beaten (twice) an admittedly hand picked but legit contender in Derrick Chisora, a former cruiserweight champ in Steve Cunningham, and a host of interesting lesser fighters including former title challenger Kingpin Johnson.

The only comparable fight Wilder has had was Malik Scott..a fight which was lmsot universally considered a fraud.

I am a Fury can and was a Wilder fan at one time. In truth, both are manufacture to some extent since they have been steered at all costs against puncher sand have had some dodgy moments against those that they have fought. But Fury is way ahead, and I don't see how anyone debates that.

i'm not saying wilder is as good as fury. i'm asking about the comparative levele of hype, should wilder win. i think you are about the only one who understood this. and i agree, i'll be shocked if wilder beats stiverne. even though stiverne is as untested as wilder, or fury. this site seems to just contain whiners, who make threats if they don't agree with your point of view. later today the wilder contingent will converge to call me names.

I've never really rated Fury that highly but he looked fantastic against Chisora, the best I've seen him box. He looked very sharp. Wilder is a very strong, hard puncher, but we'll just have to see.
