Haters don’t let silly things like the lack of a credible source get in the way of their agenda.

Not surprised. Why would anyone buy a rematch that nobody wanted to see.

Remember when the same guys who attacked GGG for 'only' 150k PPV vs. Lemieux now praise 135k for Wilder (HW belt holder with 10 defenses) as a solid result.

Wilders problem is that he never fights against the best fighters.

If he does, the numbers will go up.

I'd say Wilder is being badly advised but he just got 20m for a fight noone wanted to see and was never going to cover what it cost to put on.

Must be 138,000 very stupid people. Prime paper titleholder vs an old man who suffers from high blood pressure, and very poor undercard.

They should have saved their money for a better PPV event, like Joshua-Ruiz this weekend.

Wilder made 20 mil. People who paid him that money are idiots. He is worth 2mil a fight max.

He'd have definitely done better numbers against Whyte.

Completely agree he should of taken the fights with some of the matchroom fighters earlier... especially for the money he was being offered.

However, people saying he is charismatic and a good talker... i actually really dont think he is. Yes, he talks alot... but majority of what he says makes no sense or doesnt take 2 brain cells to see through his bull****. Everything he has said about other fighters... he is actually worse and most people can tell.

Not to mention some of the stuff he has come out with that is so clearly aimed at attention grabbing.

Wilder has repeatedly avoided prime top ten HWs, and instead fought journeymen like Washington and Szpilka or faded old boxers like Ortiz and Stiverne. Wilder has ducked Joshua, Ruiz, Parker, and Whyte.

And he avoided Fury too, before his nervous breakdown & 3 yrs of inactivity.

Let's face it, Wilder will never face a prime, healthy top ten HW opponent, no matter what money is offered.

He'll fight another old man or vulnerable journeyman next time out, after finding an excuse to avoid the current healthier Tyson Fury.

That's the problem! $75 for a fight like this! This should have been around a $35-$45 fight. Niether man is elite. Ortiz was nowhere near prime and everybody knows Wilder isn't a big draw. If the fight was priced right, it might have gotten 3X's the sale, which would have made more money. Just for the record, I paid the $75. In my defense, I also paid $80 for the wife and my brunch the next morning. I guess I need to be more wise with my money. LOL
