Good for him if he got anything above 200K buys. I'm not seeing any of the money, so it's irrelevant to me either way, but higher PPV numbers means more money willing to be invested in growing his brand, and that's a good thing as far as the HW division is concerned. Wilder's not been pulling his weight for years now, and it's time he began to do so.
I feel like I’ve asked this 100 times since I started posting here, but who the hell is this Rick Glasser guy?
Its just butthurt, scared ass Joshua fans preparing to jump mo aboard the Whyte bandwagon if he loses.
Knew you would pop up. It's decent for Wilder, but he would have earned a hell of a lot more had he fought AJ. Probably triple that.
Er, what? Many people thought Ortiz had a chance due to him nearly stopping him in their first outing.
I honestly thought wilder would have done maybe 250,000 tbf. Thought he was becoming more well known in America but I guess not then
He's very uncharismatic with a boring personality. He doesn't represent the crazy lunatic who turns into an in-ring gladiator that Mike Tyson represented. Neither is he the warrior against all odds who takes on the toughest challenges that Evander Holyfield was. You need to stand for some idea, some story that is marketable if you want to be big on PPV. Wilder doesn't stand for anything. He's a low IQ village idiot who loses rounds to outmatched semi-retired fighters. People see through his scam so it's hard for him to find fans to fork over $79.
I saw plenty here give Ortiz a good chance in the first fight, but can not remember anyone giving him a chance, or even wanting to see the rematch.
I get that but an undefeated knockout artist who’s fights are always fun because anything can happen as well as being American. This should help him bring people in to watch his fights regardless of his personality
Well he did fight a rematch that wasn't really warranted. The Fury rematch will have way bigger numbers.
