How WBC ordered immediate negotiations for this fight after Deontay's courageous victory over quarterback George Washington, numerous announcements of big announcements, so many douchebag instagram posts by Wilder, talking smack with Tony Bellew, calling out AJ and Parker, denying career high payday with Whyte, TV network issues with Stiverne, Ortiz fight announced, Ortiz getting busted, Ortiz fight cancelled....and now it all goes back to MOTHER ****ING BERMANE STIVER-

 

Stiverne II was originally going to be made, but no network would pick it up. That's how King Kong got the call.

Making sure Stiverne was the replacement opponent is a nice workaround to the problem of having a mandatory due nobody wants to air.

That the WBC is making up how they handle positive tests as they go along just adds to the comedic value. How Stiverne got to be one of the golden children who gets special treatment, I'll never know. Kinda funny how most articles mentioning Povetkins positive test leave out Stiverne pissing hot.

Well i did i poll a few weeks before this match was even made.And said i'll believe wilder will fight Ortiz IF and only If he actually stepped in the ring on fight night..i guess i got it right by default,though still some part of me thinks Haymon didnt want wilder to fight Ortiz ,why would he? And let Ortiz possibly dethrone wilder and ruin the Joshua fight,alot of loose ends on this one for me.Not taking the whyte fight was a red flag for me,less worry and more money,then goes for Ortiz? IDK!

I dont actually care would rather see Joshua fight Ortiz after Pulev than wilder. Hearn can really dig the knife into wilder if he makes a claus that lets Ortiz use his blood pressure meds. lol

Haymon still has time buys on Fox Sports and Bounce TV, he has Tuesday night cards on regular.
