Now the WBC says Ortiz is not to be punished or his ranking removed, he is being held back because blood pressure is a serious issue and will be appointed physicians and hopefully will get a crack at wilder in first quarter of 2018.

Lmao do these turds make this up as they go along?? Why wasn't Povetkin allowed to keep his ranking - Ortiz a 2 time steroid abuser is-

This is all a bad SCAM

Wow lol. They continue to outdo themselves. This is basically an admission on their part that Ortiz losing out on the fight was politically driven.

They should shame Wilder for calling fatally ill Ortiz a baboon.

"The WBC’s decision was as follows, they did not sanction the fight based off the fact that they are worried for Luis’s health."

This is a big joke nothing more.

    This couldn't be more predictable.

I don't like to indulge in conspiracy theories but there's so much that stinks about Wilder's career to date that it starts to become the only option. The Scott dive, the Povetkin fiasco, the endless voluntaries, now this whole mess with Ortiz. I honestly suspected Stiverne was Wilder's real opponent, but hoped I was being cynical after so much BS surrounding this utter clown, but I'm once again shafted up the poor chute for daring to believe in something this pathetic blowhard has promised his long suffering fans.

Maybe Wilder's just the unluckiest fighter on Earth, but I don't frankly care anymore. It's just one long shower of sh!te with this guy and I've had enough.

The difference is that Hatton had more than a fan base - he had a following. Joshua has thousands if not millions of fans but people don't feel like he is 'one of them'. With Ricky they did. That's why they were happy to save up any spare cash they had to go and support him. It was more than an event for his fans. They felt like he needed them and that they were part of his success.

Does anyone really feel that way about AJ?

    Bingo!!!

Originally they saw Ortiz failing after scuba for 12 rounds and though that there was no way their boy could be collected and worst case a wide UD, their boi still keeps that belt..

The WBC must have hit panic stations when they saw Ortiz in camp, smashing training partners so they invented this **** and bull story to get their man in with another bum...

It really is a ****en joke....

Ortiz hasn't aged enough to be given that opportunity.

If neither Povetkin or Ortiz would have failed do you think the fights would have gone ahead?
