Maybe this fight will have serious drug testing? Maybe Wilder is going for speed? 6'7" tall 214 pounds? I realize Wilder has the legs of a new born dear, but geez is he skinny. He might walk about the 205 mark, as you work out for 2-3 months, you gain muscle.
I like his enthusiasm (gives Lampley a run for his money in that department) but sometimes he's just a flat-out cartoon.
eh hes my favorite actually I like when he acts like that .. he seems like he really enjoys doing it and its not just a boring job to him like some of them that do it.
It is clear to see that Deontay trained his running for this fight. It wont do him any good because Ortiz will wreck his body and them untrained legs will fall apart. King Kong KO4
Wilder clearly going for speed. Could backfire if ortiz can actually get in position to put it on him but thats a big if
I think it is more down to Wilder putting in so much work in training that he has just came in so light. From both their weights I get the impression Wilder is the more hungry of the two. I could be wrong, but that is the impression I am getting.
what I don't understand is how can a heavyweight boxer have such thin legs...??? why wouldn't he atleast try to put some muscle on them.. his legs will be gone if he ever takes a decent shot to the chin lol.
I wonder if Paulie will bring this up during tomorrow's broadcast or he'll toe the company line. I'm sure Uncle Al won't be best pleased if he does touch upon it. 'With the WBC removing any obstacles, the fight between Wilder and Ortiz was rescheduled for March 3 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. But Malignaggi wonders just how many of the boxer's past wins were a direct result of PED use. "I think Ortiz comes from a really great pedigree. The Cuban amateur system, there are no Cubans who can't fight. I think it can always be a potentially fun fight whenever they're involved. They are really skilled fighters and skilled operators in the ring," Malignaggi explained to Baldwomen.com "One thing I got to say though.... and nobody is saying this, it's like the big gorilla in the room, the big elephant in the room.. Ortiz, would he be as effective minus the PEDs? It seems like a lot of the big wins and a lot of the strength may have come from that. "The guy failed twice, maybe three times, and you have to start asking the question - how good is this guy if he's clean? Has he been caught every single time he did it? Odds are, if you are doping you probably doped and got away with it too. You are not getting caught every time you're doping. "You have to wonder about this fight that we're all getting excited about. Is the fight really that good or is Deontay naturally that much better. Because we know Deontay stands for testing and a clean sport and pays for extra testing, and I think that's why his opponents keep failing. It's eye opening how dirty the sport can be. "You don't want to downplay Ortiz too much, because he does come from that amateur system and he does have skills - but is the power bulked up? That's my question, because he does have some quality knockouts over guys like Bryant Jennings, and he's failed [drug tests] a handful of times already."
are people not seeing the reason why he's down in weight? guys not eating enough and probably isn't keeping food down well. probably throwing up and a lack of appetite due to anxiety.
