I like it, he seems to be in a position where he can, and not many heavyweights can say that. There are still big fights for him at Heavy so im not sure why he wants to do this. But hell why not?

Ive not seen the interview where he says this so im sure its just a bit of talk and it wont happen. Many Boxers say many things that never end up happening.

BS. There are a couple of big challenges in the HWD with Fury, a couple of decent prospects and such names like Usyk or Gassiev moving up. If you want to be an ATG in HWD and compare yourself with names like Mike Tyson or Ali for example you can't run away from all those challenges after unify with one fight. I'm sure he's just having a laugh, but I imagine he could feasably cut down to CW and still have that get out of jail free card. One thing I will say about the top CW's is they all seem hittable enough for Deontay to get to them. He'd have insane advantages at that weight if he could make it comfortably. I don't understand anyone who wants to argue the contrary.

Also, there is no duck to be found here. He clearly said AFTER he unifies HW and WHILE STILL controlling the HW division.
