    Another outlandish Wilder remark..

Posters give him a lot of hard time but this is why.

He can't make a run at CW, first off he's too tall and he walks around at 230.

Second he wasn't even below 205 in his pro debut, he would weaken himself at this point trying to make weight it would be ridiculous and he would probably get knocked out by the first top guy he fights.

This is a late April's fools right?

Let's think this through. Wilder generates $1.5 million per fight at Heavyweigt in the USA. And he's been complaining about the lack of attention he has been getting by US media, blaming the media for his lack of marketability and low purses.

Now imagine Wilder moves down to Cruiserweight. What would his purses be? $200k? $300k? How much would Wilder cry about his low purses then?

Wilder is already lean as it is and has chicken legs, there is no way he can cut down to cruiserweight without it draining him and eliminating his power.

Can you even hold belts at two weight divisions simultaneously?

This. Wilder can fight, but he like Joshua should run some comments by his handlers before he goes public, since this has to be one of dumbest things I ever heard. Wilder is 32 going on 33 and is skin and bones at 214lbs , so it would be impossible for him to get under 200 lbs and not be a corpse.

Also, the cruiserweight is and always has been a joke of a division. A highly skilled fighter at 185 lbs is more than big enough to fight any size heavyweight. Michael Moorer jumped from 175 to heavyweight for a reason.

If Wilder knocks out AJ twice, beats Fury, unifies the division and becomes a huge star, why wouldn't his name bring in bigger purses to the cruiserweight division?

They'd be able to sell it just based on the weirdness of the unified heavyweight champion of the world moving down to win more belts.

Wouldn't be marketable. There are no PPV stars at CW (although they're excellent boxers). Wilder would need someone who is marketable as he himself is not marketable neither.

Imagine a fight Wilder vs. Breidis, Usyk or Gassiev. Would it generate more money than Wilder vs. Ortiz? Not a chance. No one in the US has ever heard of those 3 fighters.

So, in your opinion, if Wilder becomes the undefeated, undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, he would still be unmarketable?

I thought fighters got credit for moving up weight classes, not down.
