Wilder fans thought Team Wilder was playing all this perfectly, he wasn't "ducking" Povetkin, he was waiting it out for MONSTER money from the Russians to be thrown at him, well that didn't exactly work out well did it

Now what will you Wilder fans say when (because I'm convinced he will) he drops the belt?

Imagine? We can all smell the sperm dripping of you. The stench is horrific. No question you're on Haymon's payroll and still taking it plums deep the back door from him, TS Foxxy.

By the way. I just reported you for h*mophobia. :good

It wasn't an actual $10 million offer.

Just like the "offer" Tyson Fury got of fighting Wlad Klitschko on a yacht and only people who pay a million dollars a ticket wasn't an actual offer.

Just people trying to grab headlines ... who have no intention of actually backing up their "offers."

Do you have any idea how many time zone Russia spans? Do you realize the statement was allegorical?

The fight is highly unlikely to be held during a time good for US viewers, and even your 2pm Eastern example is still 11am Pacific.

    Get a clue.

I had a disagreement with MVC a long time ago, he said Wilder would be getting 20 million plus, I said no he wouldn't, MVC was adamant, told me I didn't have a clue how boxing worked... I wonder what that idiot is saying now?

The man is completely clueless, so I assume he is banging out some excuse for Wilder or saying its a stitch up.

I blocked him a while ago, might have to unblock him to read his excuses to why he was so wrong.

And Tyson Fury confirmed he was in negotiations to fight Klitschko on yacht and take home the better part of $120 million.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/ot...-Klitschko-on-board-a-luxury-super-yacht.html

Of course, it wasn't a real offer.

When Povetkin's team had to put up guaranteed money ... they came up with something less than $10 million.

That's the difference between an offer and an actual bid that is expected to be paid.

Truth is Wilders handlers SOUNDED like they thought $10 million was low-balling Wilder. If the $10 million was real or not, they thought it was chump change. Now they get less and they get the venue and all terms dictated to them LMAO

No, not at all. Why would they put up more money if they knew the other side had no faith in Wilder. They already, by a show of mercy, offered Wilder a huge payday. As they say, never bite the hand that feeds you.

Now, Wilder is taking a nap in Russia and not getting paid for it. :hi:

To be fair that article is a year old before Wilder started posting abysmal numbers lowering his earning potential. He very well could have earned 10 million before the laughable defenses he made that did not draw well.

There is also a difference between making an offer to become a voluntary defence and making a purse bid.

They needed to come up with something big when they offered 10 million because Wilder had no obligation to fight Povetkin then, now he does. Care to explain why on earth would they make the same offer now? In a purse bid, all you need to do is to beat the other promoter's offer, 1$ would be enough for that. I thought people would be able to figure that out, that's why I've been saying that It was foolish to believe Wilder would get 16-17 mil. after the purse bids ordered.

Povetkin's camp approached Wilder's to ask whether they'd be willing to make a voluntary defence in Russia for 10 million $, and then went on to schedule the Perez fight to become the mandatory defence once their offer was refused.
