Inactivity most definitely played a part in that proformance
For a fighter that relies on range and KO shots, it's pretty much all over when you can't find range as Wilder couldn't

Physically he looked and acted fine so no decline on that front imo

But Parker had a plan, and was sharp and that's alot to do with him keeping very active

Credit to Parker in every way and well Wilder has nobody to blame but himself and his bitach in his corner

Yeah no doubt inactivity usually plays a part but the worst thing is getting in the ring & deciding not even bothering to throw a punch before it's too late & even by then to not go for the full gusto? that just makes that suggestion so uncompelling.

Another thread where zero credit is given to Parker. The foght was lost all because Wilder is old, inactive, lost his hunger , you name it.

I saw Parker win cause he saw the Fury blue print of taking the fight to Wilder. Parker hurt him enough with his punches to make Wilder hesitate. When it look like Wilder was going to do something he got inside and smother him. Parker fought a smart and discipline . That was won it. It wasn't Wilder couldn't throw. Parker neutralize his only weapon.

As good as Parker was in this fight I see Joyce still stopping him if they fought again. So lets stop with the Wilder excuse and give Parker his due. That was why Wilder lost.

Wilder is self-absorbed and low IQ. Every interview of him for the past two years is talking about his right hand and the statue they erected of him in an abandoned parking lot in Alabama.
He looked exactly the same as in Fury 2, Ortiz 2, Helenius etc.

Wilder always makes excuses. He has a hard right hand but not much else.
And he could KO Usyk, AJ, Parker, pretty much anybody but Fury, however a nuclear
bomb ain't dangerous if you lost the launch button.

My belief is arrogance played its part

Wilder is used to having that home cooking but he clearly hadn't read the menu in Saudi

    Wilder lost that killer instinct.

Before he would ring walk with that little death mask on.

Now he dressed up like something from a Disney musical.

The good news for Joshua is that he has already amassed a better resume than Wilder and Hrgovic put together, so in the scheme of things, it doesn't matter which he fights, or if he fights either.

You know what? Let Wilder fight AJ. If he gets beat especially in another 0-12 performance, that should be a wrap for him. He'll have lost to Fury 2 times, Parker and then AJ. Proof would be in the pudding that he can't beat a quality HW.

He doesn't deserve an AJ payday after that listless performance. And when he loses you know he's going to come out and blame everything from the orbit of Jupiter's moons to the midwife who delivered AJ.

I think the showing was so poor, Wilder shouldn't even be in the top 10 anymore.

I could have accepted the excuse of - It's my first real fight in 2 years, I need time.

Wilder just looks like he's lost his anger/passion to fight.

To be fair to him, he took a beating and survived well. Wilder can take a punch.

Wilder showing his true colours again, lacking class as per usual. Either he's totally delusional or he just likes to play the villain as it will keep people tuning in to watch his fights, hoping he loses. I suspect it's the former, surrounded by yes men, with an equally delusional fan base feeding his delusion.

Yes the inactivity would have effected his performance to some degree but we've seen him out boxed before against worse fighters than Parker like, Washington, Ortiz and Szpilka. Truth is Wilder was never that good to begin with, dangerous for sure but the 2 times we've seen him have his right hand taken away from him in the 2nd Fury fight and the Parker fight he's looked completely out of his depth. Parker was simply the better fighter and always was.
