If that's true, then Wilder and his team are just adding fuel to the fire and embarrassment to the worst extended HW title reign in hw boxing history.

We all know Wilder by now don't we?
His modus operandi is to call out guys who are either tied up in negotiations or are due to fight,if this is true then even Blizzy will discard him,Eddie Hearn has a reputation of being a fair man and has given many a guy a career changing figure so why is Wilder not keen on 4million and a chance to fight in front of the biggest audience he's ever seen?

If any Wilder fans can explain this in what would be a fight where he'd be a resounding favourite I'm all ears lol.
Meanwhile AJ takes on Wlad in his 18th fight and is up for it all again when Wlad could quite easily reverse the result.
Wilder again showing he's a fraud.

Sounds plausible but in all seriousness I like guys like Whyte cause he's clearly a yes man and you just know he'll fight anyone anytime.
What's going on with Wilder anyway and how can he be negotiating with anyone, hasn't he got a date with Stiverne?

Well I just watched AJ v Wlad again and I've never seen anyone take Wlads shots like AJ did, fight of the year was just brutal seeing two huge heavyweights trying to knock each other out,no way could I see Wilder taking those shots or indeed being able to box against Wlad, they know levels wise that Wilder can't compete at that level, why else would they avoid anyone in the top twenty, thirty even.
I'm so done with Wilder that I'd be applauding him if he fought someone like Breazle.

So 7 million is gonna be the price to stop fighting scrubs and fight one decent opponent for once?

Maybe in his dreams. Wilder makes barely over $1 million per fight, and fights in obscure places with cheap tickets.

Meanwhile, Joshua is a superstar, fighting in front of the biggest attendances, in the biggest fights in the sport.

You put those two things on the scale, and no matter what you do, they just never come equal.

Wilder don't care for Hearns and he is not gonna let Hearns dictate to him. That's why he came with the seven million figure. Hearns showed disrespect by offering him one of his bums instead of his champion who Wilder feels is on the same level as himself. Now if Hearns would've caved and offered the seven then I am sure Wilder would have taken it and beat the brakes off Whyte then had a good laugh at Hearns expense. Bring on Joshua or Parker. Wilder is ready.

Deonkey Windmill Wilder is a disgrace to boxing.

Whyte is not even that dangerous. Yes he is a level above much of Deonkey's recent competition, but Deonkey should be taking a fight like that.

This is the same Whyte that narrowly lost to a shopworn Chisora (on my card)...Come on

As mentioned before Wlad brought the WBA title to the table and his name on Joshua's resume add's far more than Wilder's ever will. Also unlike Wilder, Wlad is a pretty good draw, his fights generate $7 mill in purses for facing nobodies, Wilder can't even generate $2 mill in combined purses for his fights. Wlad clearly brought more to the table than Wilder does or ever will.

Yes Joshua/Wilder is a mega fight but no way he gets 50/50. Mayweather/Pac was an even bigger mega fight did Pac get 50%. No he only got a 60/40 split despite being a huge draw himself. How on earth does Wilder who can't attract as many fans to his fights as some fighters weigh ins get anywhere near 50/50?

Joshua's last fight generated an estimated $35 million in purses compared to Wilder/Washington's purses being a combined $1.15 million. How does a guy like Wilder get 50% when he generates only 3.2% of what Joshua just did. How does one go from 3.2% to 50%. Frankly if Wilder gets 25% he'll be very, very lucky.

If you don't think getting 4.5m to beat the brakes off someone not in your class is worth it only to fight someone else from that same tier next for considerably less money is a good idea then you must have also been educated in the state of Alabama.

This is the perfect opportunity for Wilder to make a statement while Joshua meets his mandatory/rematch commitments. Wilder/Whyte isn't worth $7m so why should Hearn pay it? $4.5m is more than generous. This is just another lame excuse from the Wilder camp to avoid fighting a credible opponent.

An absolute joke of a titlist. What I think will eventually happen is he will get beaten by another one of these handpicked opponents that is supposed to be a safe fight for him, before he gets the nice payday against Joshua that he wants.
