Wilder reminds me of Lesnar in UFC. He was looked at as a joke at first. His technique seems like it shouldn't work at all. When he opens up he looks like a maniac flailing away, yet he's just so strong and athletic that even the skillful guys can't overcome the raw power of it.

Every time he steps up in class people say "ok...this is gonna be the time that skill prevails." But it never seems to (of course it will eventually. It's interesting that he is the best finisher in boxing today, yet when he finishes, he looks like the worst boxer in the division as far as technique.

He reminds me of an even more athletic version of Tommy Hearns, but that never learned to box.

Lesnar is an elite technical grappler, he could get anybody down at will. He also happens to have a size advantage. Wilder is not technically sound, and his power is overrated, he tko’d an old man.

Wilder reminds me of a basketball player that stumbled into a boxing ring not doing much in the way of boxing but has a right hand that can stop any man.

Brock sucks. He's a good wrestler and is huge and massively strong. But he's lost in pathetic ways.

Actually a more accurate comparison is a young Sugar Ray Robinson, by the time Wilder is fifty fights into his career he will be as skilled as Sugar Ray Robinson on his pro-debut, a fully educated Deontay Wilder will actually no longer be fun to watch...

This fight might be the last fight we see Deontay Wilder as a brave human, fighting for life...It was actually good to expose that part of him, from her on, it will be absolute Tyranny and oppression...Tyson Fury possibly the only real threat left

Reminds me of a slightly more athletic Derek Jefferson, really.
