So on November 13, 1992, Deontay Wilder is sent back in time to fight Evander Holyfield. Wilder because of his power and decent speed could test Holyfield, at least for a few rounds.

And for one punch power, let's face it, Wilder is one of the hardest hitting heavies ever. He may indeed rival or surpass Shavers, who many consider to be the hardest puncher of all time.

How does anyone see this fight going?

Evander all the way Wilder is not a proven and tested champion imo.

Evander is dismantles him. HE willl take a few and come back harder while working Wilders body. Wilder folds in 9.

Well Bowe wasn't proven or tested before he beat Holyfield. But I see your point

And Vander knocks him the **** out.

Wilder has huge holes in his game.

Holyfield too composed, too balanced, too great of a aggressive counter puncher able to stay mid range and still land on clunky Wilder. Its a match Wilder wouldn't be favored in at any point whether he's tested or not.

Bowe had physical girth able to push Holyfield back and consistancy able to force or welcome inside fight. Wilder is not fluid and doesn't know how to utilize much against pressure fighters , the closest thing he fought to Holyfield was Spzilka .

    There's your answer.

The fixation with Wilder by some people is really concerning.

Holyfield wins. I respect Wilder though because he is willing to fight anybody.

You think Holyfield wins via stoppage or decision?

I would look at the Foreman and Lewis fights and say K.O.

I don't believe we've seen Wilder at his best but balance is something you need with elite fighters.

He should beat Ortiz BC Ortiz is easy to figure out when he's in range to throw punches. I don't know how good that guy is either until after they fight.

Wilder will be 33 years old, if we haven't seen him at his best, it's crunch time.

Not necessarily, he hasn't been hit much, he's actually the least hit HW BC he doesn't engage and is aggressive only in spurts .
He also could switch trainers and that's an unknown factor.

Wlad Klitchko is a perfect ex. Everyone on here besides me would have written him off after his struggles, I know this BC I never did , some of these posters were ready to write off AJ bc he went 10 rounds against Takam ,and he won all of them ? Lol. He didn't peak until his late 30's BC he himself revamped his career.

Wilder could be much better its there I can see it...the question is will he be? I doubt it bc its also a physical thing with him that hindets his balance and that requires a different approach to training but I expect a very good version of him against Ortiz win or lose.
