    Which one is better?

    Wilder:

    Best win: Stiverne(?)
2 though 5 all about equivalent: Scott, Duhaupas, Splizka, Washington

    Ortiz:
    Best win: Jennings
    2. Scott
    3. Thompson
    4.???

I'd say Ortiz has the best single win, but Wilder edges him by having much better depth.

Ortiz. I put Jennings and Thompson over all of Wilder’s opponents.

Ortiz never stooped to the level of fighting a carnival attraction. Wilder's resume loses credibility fighting juggalos and internet wackos (Zelenoff).

Bryant Jennings would beat every single one of Wilder's opponents (yes even Stiverne)

I think Ortiz resume is slightly better than Wilders but only slightly. I dont think there is much between any of the heavy top dogs resumes. Klitchko being the stand out name on some of them. Out of the divisions top dogs Wilder has the largest yet possibly the weakest of the resumes.

Jennings is so far above anyone else on Wilders resume that for me it has to go to Ortiz.

Wilder has a slightly better record overall with Szpilka, Stiverne, Arreola, Duhaupas, Molina, Scott, Washington and Harrison. No matter if some of those names were far past their prime. Ortiz has Jennings, Scott, Thompson, Kayode.

But to be honest: I would even rate Jennings above all of those names Wilder fought. So it is probably hard to answer who has a better resume overall but Ortiz' is close to Wilders. Prob near 50/50.

Wilder. Besides Jennings and Scott Ortiz has nothing on his Resume. Stiverne from 2015 or before knocks either out. Jennings is athletic, but is very limited skill wise and has no jab despite his reach. I could also see Duhaupas stopping Jennings late. Audley would outbox Jennings and win a decision.

Fair enough. You all have me convinced, Ortiz's win over Jennings is probably enough to edge out Ortiz's resume over Wilders. It's a reason I rate Vitali's resume as high as Wlad's; fewer losses and better wins against mutual opponents (and therefore, better top wins).

So yeah, while Wilder has two or three times as many wins over top 20ish opponents, Jennings is enough better than Wilders best win to probably give Ortiz the overall edge.

Audley gets destroyed by punchers, which Jennings isnt. Jennings is feather fisted and very hittable. I like Jennings, but he gets overrated for going the distance with a shot Wlad. He fell for the same left uppercut over and over again. Audley being a big southpaw with skill would give Jennings a lot of trouble.
