Wilder beats Joshua in every department - especially heart. When it came down to it Wilder kept getting up time and time again against Fury whilst Joshua spat his gumshield out against a little Mexican fatty.
For me the most telling aspect of the Joshua-Usyk fight was how relieved Joshua looked in the last 10 seconds that he'd got through it on his feet. Another 30-60 seconds and he probably wouldn't have. He looked the same in middle rounds against Klitschko and towards the end of the second Ruiz fight. For me it might well be acknowledging his limitations as much as lacking heart? The Ruiz loss seemed more like a concussion.
He picked Fury because they guy had to lose over a hundred pounds to fight, and he did well enough in the first fight that he convinced himself he could win. It was a cherry pick gone wrong and Wilder sucks.
I’m talking inside the ring. He has found a way to land that “one trick pony” right hand on every man he’s ever been in with. Including landing it more than once on a slick cerebral 6’9 ATG. Wilder has extremely high IN ring iQ to my acute eye.
