Wilder rumored to face Cristobal Arreola this year

Yeah I agree, I think it's close. Either could get KO'd. Whyte has had some glamorous victories recently Hollywood esque imo.
Kownacki would definitely flatten all of Whyte's resume besides AJ/Parker. I'd pick Kownacki over Chisora

 

I'd love to see the rematch personally. Arreola almost came to stopping Wilder in their first fight. Arreola showed us last night that he was a different animal.

 

Wilder's 2019: Arreola II, Stiverne III, continuation of calling AJ and Fury cowards/baddest man/one face/turning down contracts for unification/excuses/embarrassing interviews and almost poetic delusions of grandeur.

On Tuesday he will officially duck AJ to face Breazele on ESPN and I hope that the media in attendance (so long as they haven't been picked by Al and Shelly) question his balls (or lack of) vigorously and really put him under pressure for denying us the fight we all want and an undisputed champ.

One can dream.

Arreola's going to be either testing Junior Fa (might be winnable for Chris) or Joe Joyce next. If it's the latter - you can replace "testing" with "fed to".

 

So clear now that it was never about money.I've said all along that AJ v Wilder would go down like AJ v Charles Martin and I still believe that.Wilder made a career out of getting outboxed by c grade opposition and knocking em out late on.Against Joshua he wouldn't be able to survive up to those late rounds as he bed taking too much punishment.
I'm not even AJs biggest fan and imo he should of called their bluff and offered to fight in Vegas,that said I think it's crazy how AJ has been made to look like he's the one avoiding Wilder.Can't see Usyk messing about when he's ready?

I dont know bro, I really like Kownacki as a fighter but Whyte is a legit and more than proven contender and possible future champ. Kownacki's ceiling IMO is a massive tear up, tough, grinding UD or SD loss vs someone like Whyte but there is a strong probability Whyte knocks him out.

The only purpose Arreola should have, is being a gatekeeper to give young up and comers a test, and the chance to get a name on their record. A contender, he is not, and if Wilder fights him this year, he should be ridiculed for it.

 

Chris is one of my favorite HW's, and has been for a while. Hes never been afraid to fight anyone nor will he be. Unfortunately, I think he has wasted so much of his career and left so much of his potential unfulfilled. He has clearly regressed, and I mean significantly, from the fighter he was before he fought Vitali to after. And its not like Vitali put a career ending beating on him from a physical standpoint, maybe mentally he kicked it in a bit after that loss because it was a disheartening defeat. But you can clearly see skill-wise he has regressed significantly since that fight and has taken training way less seriously since then.

People forget Chris had a pretty decorated and lengthy amateur career and earlieer in his career was a very skilled heavy. I mean it really is such a shame he never fulfilled his vast potential especially because hes such a likeable, real, and honest guy. For his sake, I hope he gets a Wilder rematch in the future and though I cant imagine him winning, I hope he fights his balls off like he always does and performs well enough that he can hold his head high in defeat and find peace with himself over it.

There are not many fighters I root for on a personal basis more than Chris Arreola. Even though he was fighting a guy from Massachusetts on Saturday I was rooting for Arreola actually, and for me thats almost impossible to do. Man, I really hope Chris can end his career on a high note.

 

One thing NOBODY can ever take from Chris Arreola is the FACT that he IS/HAS ALWAYS BEEN A FIGHTER -- through and through. Anyone who boxes in competition and competitvely is a boxer, but not all boxers are fighters. Chris Arreola is damn near the epitome of a fighter.

Chris, whatever happens from here on in, ive always been a huge fan of yours and always will be. No matter what. I have tour back bro, and am proud of you no matter what. Do your thing brother, I just want you to go d inner peace and happiness with the rest of your career.
